Description of Work: I traveled from GSO, NC to High Point with my 96 year old mother for her scheduled appointment. When we arrived and after waiting for a relatively short period of time, we were asked for Mother's primary care doctor's referral and MediCare card. Refferal was never requested in previous appointments and I had no knowledge it was needed. Mother could have taken her appointment, but would have been charged full cost. As she is on limited income, this was prohibitive. Not necessarily problem with doctor; we have found an excellent provider in GSO.

 + -1 moreShe is very good. She handles old people really well. We have been seeing her for probably 5 years. They are very professional and they've got a good reputation. They are very nice. When you go in, they are very prompt. My mother-in-law is 91 years old and as I said, she is very good with older people. However, I have hearing aids too. But we originally went to her because my mother-in-law needs to get hearing aids and didn't want them. She was so good that she actually got her to get them. She is very good. She is very customer-friendly. I like her. She even delivers the hearing aid batteries to my mother-in-law.
Description of Work: We see Amy Kirkland in Doctor's heating Care. She is an audiologist and she also does my mother-in-law.
