 + -1 moreDavid is a very knowledgeable professional when it comes to pianos He responded to my request to get my piano tuned, quickly, his estimate for the service was exactly what he charged, he showed up at the exact time he said he would. My piano was not tuned for many years, but It was in good condition so a tuning was all that was needed. He answered all my questions, and explained to me what he was going to do service wise, and advised me on care and upkeep of the piano. I will use his services again in the future.

Description of Work: Very professional, very nice. I hadn't had my piano tuned in years and was told ahead of time that it may cost a bit ore for "double tuning." Considering how much time he spent on it, I thought the price was quite reasonable. Will definitely call him again when needed.

 + -1 moreHe was precisely on time, extremely professional and friendly, and very knowledgable - not only about pianos, but loves music and we had a wonderful conversation. He sent a detailed estimate within the time stated, covering all we'd discussed. We have used the Duncan's for tuning for a very long time, but this will be the first time having them do major repairs and refurbishment to our Baldwin grand. I have the utmost trust in the Duncan's to do great work. It takes only a moment to see that Stephen truly cares about his craft and his customers. We are making plans right now to have the piano picked up and sent for the repairs.
Description of Work: I have needed some repair for my piano for a long time. The Duncan's have tuned this piano for decades under three different owners within the family. Stephen Duncan came out to review and provide and estimate on repairs and tuning.

 + -1 moreHe called to see if he could come a bit earlier than our original appointment. He got right to work and spent about 1-1/2 hours tuning our upright piano. It sounds great now.

 + -1 moreHe came recommended by the piano tuner at the college. He's a very honest guy. He's always right on time or within ten minutes. He takes his time and even rewound a couple of the bass strings instead of saying it needed to be restrung.
Description of Work: My piano tuner is Duncan Piano Service. I've used him for about fourteen years. He was here two weeks ago to tune the piano. I used to do it twice a year but I have a "piano lifesaver" system that he installed and it stays tuned longer. Now he only comes once a year.
