I was very pleased with aesthetic look of the project; The ditch with the rocks look presentable. I feel this attractive area will prevent further standing water problems on the driveway and to the structure of the house..

Contacted company about the condition of my yard. I was very clear that I knew my yard was majority weeds and that I wasn't sure of the best plan of action. Lady answering the phone stated that someone would come out and look at my yard and recommend the best plan. They came out and recommended a fertilizer/weed killer program, consisting of 5 or 6 treatments annually, beginning immediately (Fall 2013). They started treating in September/October 2013 and the yard quickly turned to dirt. Weed killer worked as intended.
However,my issue with their recommended plan of action was that by starting the program in Fall 2013 they knew I would
then be left with nothing but dirt for an entire year, which I was. I have learned now through research and
talking with friends that seeding is done in the fall. Their recommended plan should have been to begin
killing the weeds in late August/early September 2014 to prep for seeding in September/October 2014. By them killing the weeds, which was my entire yard, a year in advance of seeding resulted in an entire year of a bare yard. Any knowledgeable landscaper knows that you can?t do that. I?m guessing they didn?t want to miss out of the money by waiting that long.
The lack of covering resulted in terrible erosion of my yard. It washed considerably every time it rained leaving dips and uneven place throughout my yard, not to mention the yard was unusable for the entire summer due to all the mud. I have a child so this made for a less than enjoyable summer for him. I am a woman and knew very little about yard maintenance and put my trust in them; however, I feel I was overcharged and not provided with descent service. I contacted the company about this to
express my concerns about the timing and was offered little explanation or understanding. To top it off I
discontinued my service yet they performed another treatment. I will pay the invoice because I don?t want to deal with this company anymore. Also, one treatment was applied on a federal holiday and I was off work. I was standing at my kitchen sink washing dishes only to observe one of their workers relieving himself in one of my Leyland Cypress trees. Unprofessional company from the staff, to management, to service. When charging premium prices, premium services should be delivered.

They are good people and easy to work with. They do landscaping design and they can do the construction on what they design. They did a great job on both the design and implication. The people we worked with were just super! They are just good people who also do good work. Every time I have called them since the big project, they have been very responsive.

I love this company! They came out very shortly after I called and were very professional. I forget the techs' name but he was great! I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of and when I brought out my checkbook, he said " Don't worry about that mam, we will send a bill"! I asked him how much he thought it would be and he said "about $68". I was shocked, thinking it would be far more for all the work that he did"!

We just moved into a large house in Hickory from New Mexico. We had nothing that could maintain such a huge lawn area. We tried several lawn services and none were punctual (as in not showing up 2 weeks in a row). Across from the church we attend is a home with a lovely yard....well trimmed....plantings healthy.... and a sign that said: Maintained by The Ground Keeper. After the latest and quot;no showand quot;, we drove by the sign and called the number. I got a very pleasant human being who took my number and address and said that Steve would come out the next day to chat with me at our home. Steve arrived as promised and asked me to let him mow the lawn first to get a feel for it before discussing price with no obligation. After finishing (he and his partner did a very nice job), we agreed on a price and a set day for it to be mowed. He also walked my wife and I around our entire yard, told us what every planting was, what care it needed now (if any) and care in the future. His partner offered us options for altering our back yard tree line including tree removal and tree planting.
Two weeks ago we decided to remove a tree in our back yard and replace it with a crepe myrtle. I mentioned it to Steve and he asked us to let him see if he could get us a good tree at a better price than we could get for the same size. Last week he chatted with me to make sure of the color, size, and price and mentioned that a second crepe myrtle could be planted to balance the yard better. The end result is that Steve and his partner showed up last week as scheduled, mowed the lawn, dug out that big old tree with a small backhoe, planted 2 large gorgeous crepe myrtles and hauled off the stump for $275. We weren't even home while it was being done and it was all done perfectly.

They're great. I've only been here one time when they have come. They seem to be pretty reliable. I don't have any questions on whether they have been here or not. It's cheaper to use them than it would be for me to do it myself.

Wonderful service. In fact, it is too good. Our yard needs mowing more than I'd like.

He was referred to us by someone a couple of years ago. They do all the lawn mowing, re-seeding and trimming our bushes and trees. They also helped with a drainage issue. He is wonderful and always on time. He will call and let us know if he is going to be late. He is very nice, professional and easy to work with. He is the only landscaping company that we have seen and he puts the combs out an since there he and his fridge.
