,The project was completed over the winter months with delays due to inclement weather. The contractor, Andy, was extremely busy but he always addressed my concerns. The workmen were competent and took great care with the installation, including ceramic floors and a bead ceiling.
They were professional at all times and made a special effort to instruct me in the procedures necessary to the project. Several approving comments have been made by others on the quality of the room. I enjoy the room immensely and it has become the center for my writing tasks.

Because of unexpected bad weather, the start date was several weeks past what I expected, but when work did begin, the two men arrived early, worked every minute, and put in a full day. Their craftsmanship is excellent. I especially appreciated their habit of cleaning up everything at the end of each day. They left NO trash behind! When their part in the construction was finished, I was not satisfied with two minor items and asked for adjustments. Sunlife quickly agreed to have the workman return and make the corrections. Couldn't ask for better service!
These are the people to call when you want a sunroom.

The entire project went very well. We were shown ideas on a computer and how the room would look. We were then given a quote. We were told when to expect the work to be done with an approximate date. The guys showed up on time to do the work and were very professional. The room turned out beautiful. We are very pleased. Do get the guys to clean the windows prior to leaving if they are up high outside.

We decided on a Four Season Sunroom because a screen porch alone did not keep out bugs and was not usable in the cold months. We liked the sales person and the info on the finished product. We installed 2 sunrooms, one is on the second floor where a screen porch had been and the other is a brand new build attached to the family room. The above cost reflects only the brand new build. They are well built and warm in the cold months and comfortable in the warm months.
The new build sunroom has forced air heat and air conditioning it is about 15 by 20 with a bull nose and in the summer due to the location (facing west) the air can not keep it cool. We open the windows and treat it like a screen porch with fans and it is great. The second floor sunroom that is 10 by 20 and faces south we use the combination unit recommended and installed by Sun Life and it keeps it cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
The crew was great and professional. They worked with us as things came up and since we were new to the area helped provide the contractors for all the things that needed to be done. We had a leak in the second floor sunroom about a year after the build and they came and fixed it no problem. We have had no other leaks. Both sunrooms were custom designed for our home that was built in 1929.
We recommend this company. We think if you want a screen porch check them out first. I am glad that we decided to go with the glass sunrooms. It is great to watch the snow fall in a comfortable room. It is great to enjoy the sound of the rain. It is great for bringing in your animals out of the weather. We have tile floors that can take anything. We bring our plants inside for the winter. The glass sunrooms really give an added space to your home that brings the beauty of the outdoors in all year long.

* They started about two weeks later than they had estimated. * When they unloaded the materials, they left them uncovered in the dirt over the several weeks of construction, never cleaning them and installing them dirty so we had to clean them after they left. * When we got home from work the day they unloaded the materials and took them around to the back of the house, we found the outdoor furniture pushed to the side where they had went through to get to the back. A large decorative vase was broken into pieces. They denied doing it. * The 15'x10' sunroom turned out to be 14'x10'. Luckily, before they built it, I measured the outline for the 4' deep closet for the laundry. It was only 37 inches. I had told them I needed at least 42and quot; and they had promised 48and quot;. * Before they began, I had also explained how I was going to do the floor. They installed a door to the closet that was too long so I had to cut it down and re-install it. * They left the old soffit in the room, spider webs and all. They told me this was the standard procedure. When I complained, I came home to find they had removed the soffit and replaced it with another one for which they were going to charge me $150. I wound up taking it out myself and repairing the ceiling. * They left cracks showing where they connected the prefab walls to the house. * One of the skylights leaked and they had to come back three times before it was finally fixed. I had to call the owner of the company for the final repair. * They only installed one downspout and attached the gutter in the wrong direction so the water collects in it when it rains. They did the same to the existing gutter they cut to build the sunroom. There was a downspout on each end of the house and now water pours over the gutter when it rains in front of the door to the sunroom. I'll be adding another downspout as soon as I'm done with all the other work. * We had asked for the space below the sunroom to be covered. The sales person said they didn't do that, we should plant some shrubs. We live in the mountains of NC, where winters are certainly cold enough to freeze pipes. I wound up insulating and covering around the outside of the crawlspace. * At the end of it all, I spoke one last time to the sales person who assured me that he would be out for a final inspection. That was five months ago, haven't seen him.

They sent an employee out to help educate me on the hot tub since I didn't know how to operate it. He went over everything with me from chemicals to cleaning. They were very quick to help out and really helped me to learn how to use and maintain it.
