We made arrangements to use this company for our move in the middle of Oct. Our original move set for Oct the 24th or 27th. The closing date changed to the 3rd of November which I call to let them know. I told them the closing times and that I would need for them to pick up my things on November 2nd which is a Sunday (They said no problem that they move 7 days a week) and that we would need to have them deliver on the 3rd at 1:00 pm. I called November 1st to make sure everything was set and to find out the time they would be arriving, which they said 9 or 10 am. Ok we are all set!!! Well on Saturday the 2nd we waited, and waited and they didn't show up. Around 11:00 I was really getting anxious. Around 12:00 I started calling all the numbers that were giving to me and I got no answer but I left a message. Finally I emailed them thinking they probably wouldn't see it until the next day. Finally at 1:00 I got a call. Someone read the email. They said, " We don't have a move set for today" I think I had a nervous breakdown. We had people moving into our house the next day. Now this wasn't a small house either 3500 sq ft. 3 floors and 3 garages. After a few choice words and by this time I'm sobbing he said to not worry that they will be out there right away. They showed up at 3:30 with two trucks. They didn't bring the wardrobe boxes they said they would. When asked where they were, he said that it wasn't on the paperwork and when we looked it was plan as day that they were suppose to bring 4 of them. He said not to worry that they would wrap our clothes in a blanket and when they got back to the office they would put them in one. The blankets were dirty so I said no thanks. We put our clothes in large garbage bags and carried them out to the motorhome. (Thank God we had that) They also said that they would wrap up all pictures and mirrors so I didn't pack them in boxes. We ended up putting them in the motorhome as well. (Again thank god we had the motorhome) They finished packing up the house at 11:00 pm. We still had cleaning and personal things that we needed to pack, you know last min things.
I WOULD NEVER EVER HAVE THIS MOVING COMPANY MOVE ONE SINGLE THING OF MINE, I WOULD TRUST MEN OFF THE STREET BEFORE I WOULD LET THEM. PLEASE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR MIND, YOUR BEING, DO NOT USE THEM
Moving in was better but some of these guys were exhausted from moving us out. I think more damage was done to the house by them dropping things then the previous owners did in living here for 22 years. Some of our furniture was damaged and marred but when we showed them, they talked about filling it with wood putty and stain. Ha Ha like that is a fix no thanks.
Primary Moving called a Mr. Stout and said that he thought that they were to suppose to show up at 1:00. That was not the case. They forgot about this move, they were not going to show up at all. The men that came to move us was at home planning on spending the day watching football and cooking pork chops. It was bad all around. I was so sick from worry I had a headache (Blood pressure) and I physically got sick. I can't say this enough, DON'T USE THIS COMPANY
"The Member was given a professional move, at a very reasonable price for the size of her move. During the move The Member was not present, but her roommate and the roommates boyfriend was present during the move. All of their furniture was professionally blanket wrapped, and loaded on the truck. At the new home the Member and her roommates furniture & boxes was delivered and placed exactly where the roommate requested. All of the living room furniture was placed in the middle of the living room because the painters were coming to paint later that afternoon. The table and bed was reassembled, and all the boxes was placed on the back porch as requested. Before the Bill of Lading was signed, and before Primary Moving & Storage left the new home, the roommate and her boyfriend did a walk thru to make sure everything was in place and intact. There was no damage mentioned or acknowledged by the roommate nor the roommates boyfriend. After the walk around, then the Bill of Lading was signed, stating that the move was completed without damages. Several days later, the Member called the office claiming that there was a damage. She was explained professionally that her roommate was present during the move, and that the her roommate and the movers signed the "Delivery of Acknowledgement" stating that move was completed with no damages. Primary Moving And Storage strives to give our customer a very professional move. If there is a damage that is caused by our movers, Primary Moving & Storage ALWAYS replaces or repairs the damage at our cost."
