Started with simple enough job, new water pump. Then new thermostat. A couple hundred dollars later, I got my vehicle back, drove 2 miles up the road and all of the water was pouring out of vehicle. Only now, transmission fluid was mixed with the water. I had to call them to come tow my car back to their garage. They called the next day, said that something had happened when they had it that caused the transmission fluid to get into the cooling system. No problem, they could fix for a few hundred dollars and I could pick up in a few days. I still think it outrageous that I should pay for something that happened while you were working on my vehicle, but I let it go. However, I get a call the following day that it is going to cost over $3000.00 to fix. Are you kidding me! Needless to say, I was stunned! My options: 1) pay them close to $4000.00 to fix their mistake 2) pay for the work they had already done and I could have it towed elsewhere 3) I pay nothing for the work they had already done and sell my vehicle to them for $600.00. I was stuck between a rock and a hard place. I decided on option 3, but feel like they took advantage of me. Needless to say, I have not been back nor will I ever go back.

My brake fluid light came on for the second time in 6 months so i took my car to see if I needed new brakes. They checked them out and said I would need some new brake pads but it wasn't necessary right them. They told me sometime in the next few months I would need them but since it could wait for awhile and they would check them the next couple of times I have my oil changed so I wouldn't have to spend the money right then. i found this very helpful and they put a note on my account to check them.

All the work was done as promised and I have never had to take my vehicles back due to an error on their part. I have been taking all of our vehicles to Dickinson for the last 5 years. if they notice another problem with the vehicle they call to me to let me know that there is another problem and if I want them to repair it or replace it. I dropped the car off at 11:30 am and had it back by 4pm same day, when they were rotating all the tires they noticed the front brakes need to be replace immediately. They have always been very professional and prompt. If I have to leave my car they always offer to drive me to my house even though I only live 3/4 of a mile from the shop. Dickinsons have even come to my house to tow my pick up because 3 of my 4 tires were flat and did not charge me.
