Santos Drywall

Do never, ever use Mr. Santos, ever. He's horrible, and that's what we're dealing with right now with our house. I'd like to have it plastered all over the world to never use this guy. It was like May when he did it and we still don't have our drywall right, so we can't paint. We've had to try to find other people to fix all his mistakes because he won't fix it and unfortunately, our contractor has paid him all the money except for about $500. We've already told our contractor he's eating that cost for the repair. We have an old house that we were putting 1/4 inch drywall over the plaster walls, and when he first came in he said just remove the trim around the baseboards. He didn't say anything about removing crown molding or trim around the windows or all of the baseboards; he didn't say anything about removing any of that. So then when he came back he says oh, well you should have removed all the moldings, which is a lot in an entire house, an old style house. So he put the drywall up but then there were these big gaps around the windows. I mean, some you could put your finger through - that much where they're not gonna be able to cover it with caulk, so we had to have the trim guy come and do that molding around all the windows and all the doors. And then our painter has another drywall guy and he was scared that some of this stuff that couldn't be fixed with that in the front entry hall still has drywall repair that has gotta be done on the bottom part of the window because the trim guy can't do anything with that and it's just held our whole project up in getting things done, drywall repair. It's taking so long for our trim guy to finish up. And then there's been waviness on the wall from the trim guy putting up trim, so the drywall's not straight. Of course the trim guy did the best he could do but when you have kinda wavy drywall, it's just a mess. Everybody kind of has to go behind Mr. Santos to try to fix things; the trim guy, the painter, the new drywall guy, even the tile guy because the drywall was down in the bathroom too.
