Paula was exactly what my wife and I were looking for. We had never purchased a home before and had been renting for several years. We needed someone who know the whole process well and was willing to go to bat for us during closing. We looked at 17 different houses and Paula never lost patience with us telling us we would know the right house when we found it. When we found the right house she made sure we did not overpay and she even got us help with the closing costs. Paula was patient and kind and made sure we were never taken by surprise by anything during the home buying process. She is tough and gritty when she needs to be and is extremely personable and easy to talk to. It is nice having her in your corner through the whole process.

Paula was excellent in every way. I was managing the sale of my dad's home while living in Texas. She made the process seamless and easy. Given my circumstances, Paula was quick to offer above and beyond services (meeting with contractors, removing items from the house, being the point of contact for vendors, etc.) that helped limit the need for me to fly back and forth frequently. She is very responsive and quick to trouble shoot issues effectively and be an advocate. I highly recommend Paula.

Paula provided us with the Realtor experience we were looking for. She asked all the right questions to get herself in tune with what we were looking for, though we were not sure what we were looking for completely. Coming from Tampa, we had limited time to search for homes. She helped us narrow down the search field with her significant knowledge of all the areas we were looking, which was quite broad. She was very helpful with anything we needed locally as we were out of state. I cannot say enough about Paula. We would recommend her to anyone and everyone!!

I CANNOT IMAGINE A BETTER REALTOR! REALTY 828 is THE BEST! Paula Marzella at 828 Realty is brilliant, honest, hardworking, diligent, creative, and never stops working for you- even after your deal is done. She is honest, even when it isn't what you want to hear. Paula helped me put boundaries and limitations on things I was getting emotional about. That, in turn, prevented me from making a huge financial mistake!! Paula ran numbers on things I had not even considered (for repairs/updates/remodeling) which helped guide me into buying a home that was PERFECT for me. She is a factually driven woman, who cares about AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE, and she gets how this works. If you want a realtor that will stop at nothing to make sure you have all of your bases covered, you should meet Paula.

Paula is fantastic!! She listens, invests her time, and won't waste yours. We came to Asheville, in part, to look at homes...we left putting a deposit on new construction. Paula doesn't hard sell...she works to understand what you want...she's creative, she knows Asheville and she goes far beyond what's expected. She's as good as it gets....

Paula was referred to us by Miller Shire of Space Scapes who staged our home. Originally we toyed with the idea of selling the house ourselves. The stager, Miller, said she new of a Broker/Realtor with clients who might be interested in the house. Paula Marzella called to set up a showing for her clients. When we talked to her she sounded exactly like the kind of person we would like to work with to sell our house. She was very enthusiastic, assertive but not pushy, and extremely knowledgeable about the local real estate market. We hired a professional photographer before we met with Paula only to find out that she would have done that as part of her service. Once we hired her, she called out a company to take precise measurements of the house and rooms. Within a couple of days the house was on the market, a beautiful brochure was made, at her expense, showing the house, floor plan, pictures, and features of the property and house. That evening we had an offer which was too low so after discussions with Paula we did decided not take it. Two days later we had two offers, one above asking, which we took. She was in contact with us by phone and email at every step of the process. She answered our questions directly and guided us though these complex negotiations. We could not ask for a better, more competent Realtor. We would highly recommend her to anyone thinking of selling or buying a home.
