M & M Plumbing Company

I called owner Mac?Merrell on a?Monday, since it wasn't an emergency we agreed on a Wednesday morning?appointment. He and his helper arrived right at the agreed-upon time, they worked very efficiently, cleaned up completely after their work. Both of them were polite and professional. Their labor charge was $95, and the job was finished within an hour, as Mac had predicted when he scheduled the job. I was very pleased with their work and would use them again.

They found the part came in an fixed it. Two other companies couldn't even find the part and said it would take weeks to get the part. I am very happy I found M & M plumbing. I won't use anyone else in the future!

M&M was hired by our general contractor to replace an old water heater in the basement of a 43-year-old rental condo.  The cost for this was included in the job total so I don't know how much it was.  The new water heater was so much bigger than the old one (although both were 40 gallons) it couldn't be moved into the same spot without changing the plumbing.  M&M was able to rework the plumbing so the new heater could be installed without having to move any heaters belonging to the other condos.  They took the old heater, left the area clean and tidy and were in and out quickly in spite of all the work they had to do.
Although I rated their punctuality an A they were an hour later than they said they'd be when contractor called them.  However, plumbers never know what kind of situation they'll run into on a job so it's very difficult for them to calculate an exact time of arrival.  
While the crew was there we had them install a proper line and connector box for the ice maker on a new refrigerator, replacing a small plastic line running about ten feet through the walls to a cutoff  in a terrible location (in a crawl-in closet over basement stairs not in our condo).  We can't imagine how much damage would have been caused if this plastic line had broken.  They did a great job and only charged $136 (this wasn't included in the contractor's job).  We are very happy to have found a good plumber in the Hendersonville area.

Mr. Merrell called promptly and several days in a row trying to coordinate our availability with their schedule. He had more immediate availability but time didn't work for me. They changed out hoses and and searched all compartments and made sure there was no evidence of current leak or water damage. Fee was $95.00/hour. He ended up not charging us even though it took his and his partner's time.
