Kenneth Cairnes, the president of Hardin's personally came out to oversee the bid process and assist us with the selection of the type of flooring that would work best, particularly in our kitchen. He provided a very competitive bid, and he and his team always showed up on time and met the deadline dates for all the work he had contracted to perform on our behalf.
The flooring we chose has some interesting challenges, and both during and after the installation was completed, Kenneth came out to our home to be sure that the finished job was perfect. It required him to go above and beyond what I would consider the work of an average contractor, and he made it his goal to be sure that we were 100% satisfied before he would accept payment.
Kenneth and his team were extremely professional, and thorough doing everything from making sure the flooring was perfect to keeping our kitchen spotless during and after the installation.
I would heartily recommend Kenneth and Hardin's Quality Floors to any business or homeowner who is looking for a job done on time, on budget and to perfection.

We were living out of state when the wood was installed. Hardins was chosen by the builder. The job is terrible. No attempt was made to monitor the color match of the boards. Boards don't match up from room to room. The wood they sold us was inferior to what we were told that we were getting. A cheaper grade was used. We have peaking, cupping, overboarding and delaminating all going on.Warped boards were installed while straight boards were left in the remaining boards from the job. Boards don't even match despite box numbers being identicle. We don't know where they got the stuff. Walmart would have done a better job. When we saw the job we called the owner Kenneth Carnnes(Spell) who came over and stated he would take care of the problems. He couldn't wait to get out of our house. That was the last we ever saw of him or any one else from Hardins.Stay as far away from them as you can.

I am an independent contractor who has repaired a laminate wood floor installed by Hardins Quality Flooring. My client was very dissapointed with their installation and could get no satisfaction from HQF. The floor was installed very poorly not following even the first set of instructions provided by the manufacturer. The floor needed to be set 1/4 inch from the walls to allow expansion and contraction of the laminate during times of temperature change. HQF installers butted the flooring directly to the baseboards which made the floor buckle soon after installation. They had many cuts around doorways which were so un-precice that they had to run trim to cover the gaps. They removed stair nosing and replacede it with corner moulding which caused a tripping hasard when going down the stairs. This is also contrary to the local building codes. They came in twice to repair the floor but upon my inital inspection I could find no sign of any repairs. It took me almost a week to repair the floor they claimed they had repaired. The only conclusion I could come up with is that this particular installer was incompetent. Perhaps illitterate as the instruction are plainly written on each box of wood flooring. None of which were followed.
When my client got no satisfaction from HQF (the floor was still buckled months after the installation and 'repairs' were done) she took them to small claims court. She had two flooring inspectors and a general contractor who testified the floor was installed incorrectly. HQF showed with a fancy lawyer who proceeded to denigrate and malign my client. He provided so called witnesses who were not truthful and went off on tangents about how the house 'smelled' and such. He talked all day in the courtroom untill the judge finnally got tired and ruled for the defense.
My client had a terrible experience with Hardins Quality Floors. I would not reccomend them to anyone. They obviously have no idea what customer satisfaction is , or the meaning of the word quality. In addition, they obviously don't know how to install a laminate wood floor.

They were good and very nice. They were very efficient and they seem to have the best price for the products what we were looking for. They were very personable people and the owner is Kenneth who was very nice. They were in and out in two days and they gave us couple options to put in the flooring. We could have either three finishes flooring what we went with or we could have them come in do sand and stain flooring and put a coating. They did clean up after themselves and the owner stopped over to check in if the work was going on fine and doing the right thing. I was very satisfied with them.
