These people couldn't give any answers they just kept saying consult an engineer! For example they said my roof had many leaks i got an estimate from, of course they recommended, 8500 hundred dollars plus possibly another 5000 thousand for rotten wood. I got a 2nd estimate, thank God, no leaks and 1 price if rotten wood 4500 dollars. They are definitely looking out for themselves only. Any questions my name is Chris and my # is 910-787-6153. WATCH out for them.

Adam Duncan was punctual, professional and thorough. We hired Duncan Home Inspection to inspect a house we were buying. He was very thorough. The items found not just superficial items to fill out an inspection checklist but things we wanted to know so we could decide on their importance. One of the best of the 10+ inspectors we hired over the years.

We were thoroughly pleased with Duncan Home Inspections! Adam had great communication, and was right on time. He was extremely thorough, and found so many things that we missed completely. His knowledge of how homes are built ( along with building codes) and what we need to fix right away VS what we will want to do in the future was wonderful! The Sellers agreed to fix several things because his thoroughness of the inspection was so good. He sent me the whole, very detailed Inspection Report (with pictures) the following day. Very affordable as well! Would definitely use again!

It went great! The sellers of the house had just purchased the house one year before and provided us with a home inspection they had done. Adam was clearly more thorough than the last inspector and was able to spot more problem areas which included possible structural issue and a definite drainage issue. We will definitely use Adam in the future and recommend him to others.

Adam was very professional and extremely thorough throughout the inspections we have had him perform so far. We were very pleased with the detailed report that we were provided and the inspector taking the time to review everything with us once the inspection was completed. It helped us move forward with a successful sale on our home, and also helped us make an informed decision on the home that we originally were going to purchase. Adam was punctual and well prepared upon his arrival to our home and began working immediately. He completed everything that he needed to do, within the time frame that he had scheduled our inspection for. Even though it was raining the day that we had our home inspection done, and he still performed the needed tasks that have to be done for a complete inspection. The detailed report including pictures that we received a day or two after the inspection via email, was very detailed and included pictures, which is extremely helpful. We will be scheduling another inspection with Duncan Home Inspection Services, LLC in the next few weeks on another house we are interested in purchasing. 

 We would highly recommend Duncan Home Inspection Services, LLC to anyone interested in buying or selling a home.
