Dave's Discount Tire

I have been going to Dave's for almost 5 years. I buy my tires from them, get my oil changed, inspections. They are limited in what repairs they can do, but what they can do, I have always been satisfied with. I never have to wait longer than would be expected and am always treated with excellent customer service. Their prices are competitive and fair. I wish they were a full service repair shop so I wouldn't have to go elsewhere for other repairs. I trust them and that's hard to find in the auto repair business!

But I mentioned that the electric window motors in my car were not working and that the dealer wanted a fortune to fix the problem. Dave suggested that he look at it and that he might be able to fix the problem inexpensively. He had the car for over a week when I finally said, "enough". One of the motors was in the trunk, the electric car seats no longer worked, and the window control panel on the drivers door was broken.

We bought a car there in February 2007, the car ended up needing over $800 in a/c repairs which was not disclosed to us at the time of purchase. The car has been paid off for over a year now close to two years. The title was never sent to us. We have contacted him multiple times about the title. He said he sent the info to the DMV and I would just have to go to the DMV and get it myself. When I arrived at the DMV they pulled up the vehicle in their system and said he has never released the lien., I called him to say he needed to fax the info to the # given to me by the DMV immediately, then I told him he is very dishonest, to which he replied, "Well I won't send it then." This man is a crook and dishonest to say the least.. Stay away!
