I want to say up-front that we are really happy with the initial purchase, the installation service and the quality of the blinds!! It is the timeline and Post customer service that I have an issue with. That being said; initially it did not go too bad; when we went and talked to them to get a price they were very good. They walked us through it we decided what we wanted and they came on time to measure the windows in our house. We were told it would take 6 to 8 weeks and more than likely 8 weeks because of the :Chinese New Year" (That is where they were made). At the end of the 9th week I called and asked about them. I was told they were not in and The salesman also told me that he did not say they would be ready in 6 to 8 weeks. I reminded him about the "Chinese New Year" statement. My wife called at the end of the week and was told it would be another week before they came in and then we could schedule to have them installed. They finally came in and at the start of the 11th week we had them installed...only problem was that they did not have the one for our sliding glass door!! The young man installing them was very courteous to my wife. He said they may have been misplaced at the warehouse. My wife had to call THEM the next day (instead of them contacting us) to be told they had to re-order them. 2 weeks later we finally had all of our blinds in!

The kitchen blinds went well. The custom Roman shade (made with my won fabric) looks amateur. The locking mechanism for the cords at the top did not work, even when it was installed. It cost about $400, so my husband was upset that it did not work correctly even before it was installed. The installer put up a thing that I could wrap the cord around to keep it away from my granddaughter, which also kept the shade up.
After several months, I called to state that I was unhappy that this expensive shade did not lock when pulled up, as it should. The installer came out and told me my husband and I were raising it incorrectly. After 20 minutes, he told me the cord was too small and he would take it back to the shop to have it re-strung. My husband called them since I did not get an ETA - he was told by the installer that they wouldn't know when we would get it back until they talked to the woman who made the shade to figure out how they were going to get paid for restringing it. Then he told my husband that it didn't work right since the oil from our hands messed up the cord? My husband spoke with the owner, who affirmed we couldn't get an ETA until they figured out how they would get paid.
4 days later, they called to say it was done. A different installer came out, kept saying he did not know anything, and put it up. I had asked how we can raise and lower the shade without touching the cord, since we had been told that was an issue. They had replaced the cords, as well as the locking mechanism to hold the cords in place. The locking mechanism works, but the cords are off so that when you pull them up, the shade sits at a definite angle, so you have to pull one of the cords separately to get the shade to be even when pulled up.
I sew, and made all the rest of my drapes. I wish I had tried to do the Roman shade myself rather than pay the price I did for the shade. I don't like having to hound people to get something done right, since I was brought up - if you have time to do it again, you had the time to do it right the first time. I also don't like lots of bs answers when trying to get information.

They were so nice and helpful and took the time to offer advice on rehanging the window shade. I will be calling them back to get an estimate for additional window treatments in my home.
