Adam Mills Construciton

Hired Adam to build a side deck. His price was higher, but we needed it done right away. We paid $900 and provided all the material. He charged 4 hours for a 3rd helper that showed up on the last day for two hours. We were only to pay for two people. We've had so many issues with construction, I didn't have the energy to argue. We should have gone with someone else, especially since he didn't show up when he said and the deck did not get done any sooner. Adam doesn't communicate to let you know he can't make it or if he is going to be late. The deck is handyman quality at best. We could have done better had we had the time. To add insult to injury, it didn't pass inspection because the risers are open. I would expect him to know code or how to look it up. Would not recommend for quality work. Now we are getting the steps up to code ourselves. It is taking longer than need be, used different screw heads and some screws are broken off. He should be embarrassed to charge for this quality of work.
