Murray's Tree Experts

We have use Murray's several times and have been very pleased with the work. We will definitely continue to use his company in the future. This time, the work included a tree located next to a chicken coop and trailer. He was able to get it down without any damage to the structures.

I got 5 estimates, one of them being $2,000.00 more. Mike and his crew worked hard and went above and beyond to do a good job, and cleaning up and in the time frame given. Mike does all the climbing and cutting himself, impressive for an owner to be hands on. Great work will highly recommend.

Mike and his team arrived as promised and promptly and efficiently got to work, despite it being about 23 degrees that morning. Not only did they do everything he'd spelled out for us, beautifully giving the pecan tree a long-overdue trim, his crew cleaned up yard debris we'd neglected since the remnants of hurricane Matthew came through. In fact, between their hard work, and awesome leaf blower and wood chipper, this was the neatest our backyard has ever been in November! I wasn't around for most of their workday, as I had a brand new grandson to go visit, but my husband was on hand and very impressed with the whole crew. I'd told them my concern for a flying squirrel nest in the oak tree, wanting it protected if it was still inhabited, and the crew understood my concern. My husband witnessed them check it out, and once it was determined to be abandoned, the work continued. We're very pleased with the results of the tree trimming, and how much safer it will be for our grandsons to play in the yard. I still find it dizzying how far up branches were trimmed! And all that foliage off the roof was like a weight off my own shoulders! We would definitely call Murray's Tree Experts again, he's a professional, friendly person with a great team!

AWESOME. These guys are great. First of all they showed up when they said they would, which is a big deal to me. My time is important, and were always on time from the quote to the job itself. With the size of the trees, I thought it would take longer than it did, but they were really fast. Very courteous and professional. Excellent work, really good people!

The service went great! They were prompt in responding to my emergency and very professional. They removed the limb, cut it up as requested and sealed the tree break.

All limbs touching house or roof were removed. The larger branches were cut into fireplace logs, so that we would be able to use them next year for our heating. Michael and his crew did a fantastic job and even cleaned up with a blower after all the cutting. I would highly recommend Michael Murray and his team for any tree service. They arrived on time and got straight to work. His team even stacked the firewood for us! I am a very satisfied customer.

Michael and his crew was able to come earlier than he had thought which was great! They took down several trees that were leaning over our garage, a dead willow in the front yard and a maple that was growing up in some cedars. They did an excellent job and I would use him again in a minute. They took away all the limbs, leaves and wood. Not even a leaf was left. I chose to leave the stumps and they cut them really close to the ground. You would not even know they had been here except that it looks so great. I wish all companies were professional and hard-working like these folks were. Michael was very nice and explained a lot of stuff to us and told us what to watch for in case our cedars get diseased. I would recommend him to anyone who needs trees removed. Thank you Michael and please thank your crew for us as well:)

Michael and his team showed up when he said, did the exact job he said he would and for a great price. We have used Michael for help with our trees since building our house in 2007. Sadly we have lost a few Bradford Pears to age and some larger trees due to storms. He has always been fair and professional. We would highly recommend him to friends and family.

Mike and his crew arrived @ 8 a.m. as agreed, got right to work , it was like watching poetry in motion, Mike and his team know their jobs ,and all went very smoothly, they carefully cut the tree in small pieces, carefully lowered the pieces to the ground (often directly to the waiting truck) the ground crew was constantly cleaning up the loose bark, etc. keeping the work zone clean and safe. The tree was cut even with the ground, as requested, they did not even disturb the liriope, which grows right up to the trunk, all wood, bark and sawdust was cleared away from my front door to the street. My driveway was cleaner when they were done than when the arrived. At 10 a.m. they were finished, and mike and I were swapping stories about antique trucks. Be sure to check out his 1974 chevy suburban, what a sweet ride. It is obvious these guys love what they do, take great pride in their work, quick ,clean, attention to detail, 100 % professional. we have more than a dozen large trees on the property, and when they need service, trimming, etc. they will be the only tree service I call. HIGHLY RECCOMEND !!!!

We have used Michael many times at our personal home. We live in a very wooded area and have lost several Bradford Pear trees and large hardwood trees due to storms, wind and lightening. Michael has also cut down a tree at our rental property in Raleigh. He has always given a fair and reasonable quote and completed the job as he said and when he said. I would recommend him to my friends and family.

Murray's Tree Experts responded to our request the next morning after filling out the request for contact on Angie's List. The meet us the next evening to look at the trees, and made an appointment for the following week. They had a cancellation and asked if they could come early. The came cut the trees, removed the debris and ground the stumps. Other than a few flowers lost that surrounded the trees, you could not tell they had been there or there used to be trees growing there. We would use them again if the need arises.

Mr. Murray and his crew did an outstanding job. They scheduled an appointment that was convenient for both of us, arrived on time, and went straight to work. Half of the job was involved in rigging the ropes from adjacent trees. Then they began cutting sections off the trunk of the removal tree while slowly lowering the tree to the ground. The tree that was removed was approximately 104 feet tall, so you can imagine that it took a quite a few slices to bring it down to a workable size. Mr. Murray and his crew removed the cuttings and cleaned up the area where they had worked. I was very impressed and recommend Murray's Tree Experts to anyone in our area.

We called Mr. Murray and left a message on his business voicemail after hours on a Friday night. We were expecting a call on Monday, but were surprised when he returned our call later on Friday night. Mr.Murray offered to come to our house on Sunday evening to provide an estimate. Amazing! Mr.Murray was on time for the estimate and scheduled the work for that Wednesday. I was a little concerned about the trees being so close to our house and garage but I felt better knowing that he was fully insured. He arrived at 7:30am with two helpers and started work right away. Murray Tree Experts have no fear and are very efficient. They are also very cautious around your house and landscaping. They cleaned up every bit of debris in the yard afterwards and must have blown the driveway clean with a leaf blower. Everything was tidy and spotless. I was so impressed by their professionalism and pride in their work. Anyone in a fifty mile radius should have Murray Tree Experts on speed dial for anything related to trees! If we ever need any other tree work done, we are calling Mike Murray!

Came on time to give us an estimate. We were not home when they did the work and we were amazed when we got home! Everything looks so great now and we are very pleased! They carted everything away and the place looks great! Will definitely contact them again without hesitation!

Murray's Tree Service did an excellent job. My husband called to request an estimate. Michael came out on August 1 and gave us an estimate of $800.00. After getting a couple other estimates, we selected Murray's Tree Service due to his professionalism, more than his price. His price was comparable to the others. An appointment was made for August 27, 2013 at 7:30 and we were told the job would be completed by 11:00 a.m. They arrived at approximately 7:20 a.m. on the scheduled day. They cut down the 2 trees and trimmed/repaired 2. They completely grinded the stumps of the 2 trees that was cut down, plus a 3rd that was already there. Michael had approximately 4 helpers. They did a great job cleaning up, even picked up the balls from the gum tree. Michael also gave us advice on the type trees we could plant and the best time to plant. All workers were very pleasant and professional. We would definitely recommend Murray's Tree Service and use them again.

Called Murrays tree service on Monday afternoon and he set up a appointment to come look at job on Tues morning. He was very prompt and gave me a quote immediately. I told him to go with the job and was told he would be there early the next morning. He arrived on time with his crew and proceeded to go to work. At 11:00 am all work was completed . Very professional job and will highly recommend them to anyone who wants tree work done. In fact he will be taken down a few more trees for me in the future.

Mr. Murray gave us a free estimate. He was very professional and friendly. After we decided to move forward with him, he gave us a time he and his crew would arrive. They were early both days and worked hard. They completed the job in the time that he gave me and they removed all debris and cleaned up nicely. I was more than satisfied with the job that was done. I would use Murray's again and would recommend them.

Not only did they do a fantastic job it was by far the BEST bid and was much better work then another service we had performed on a twin tree in our side yard. Outstanding work. Was on time and cleaned up the mess.

A visit was done to provide an estimate and look at the situation. Very soon after that the work was performed. It was done very promptly and professionally. Everything was completed as discussed when the estimate was given and in a pleasant and professional way. The work was done well and the price was reasonable. All debris and cut trees were hauled off. Great cleaan up!! Have used this company before and woud definitely use again.

It went very well. I am pleased with the entire job. He offered to remove the trees but I will be using them as firewood. He also gave me an estimate on removal of other trees as he could look around my yard and tell me what was in danger of falling on my house.
