The cabinet doors were already off and numbered.  I explained that I would like for him to rehang them.  He did not do that, and painted over the numbers.  He spattered oil based Kilz on my stove.  He did not second coat areas he said he did.  In fact, there was a smudge on one drawer, and when it was wiped with a damp cloth, the paint came off.  He used oil based Kilz on top of latex.  He left swaths of a door unpainted, and grudgingly finished that, as well as second coated built-in shelves.  He came with two helpers and was here for a couple of hours and left.  He came the next day with two workers, was here a couple of hours and left, taking the cabinet doors with him, returning three days later with the doors, which he propped around the guest room to set up, where they stayed for days, until we hired someone else to hang them.

I thought he was very reasonable with all the work he did. What stood out is his ability, promptness and concern for getting the job completed.
