Embroidered Image

On 8/6/12 I ordered 12 articles of clothing that were required for BLET class. On 8/9/23, I called & since order had not been submitted for fulfillment, I cancelled 3 items (cold weather apparel).  Please note that this is the ONLY company listed by the community college through which one can purchase & have name & school logo embroidered on goods. Jean, the employee that I spoke with regarding the cancellation, indicated that she would need to call me back. She called me back on 8/10/12 and indicated that she had cancelled the items that I requested but my refund would only be $77.25; she was having to charge me a 25.00 credit card transaction fee since she had already submitted a transaction for the original sale & then was having to submit another transaction for the credit transaction. Please tell me when consumers became responsible for paying merchant card processing fees?  What kind of customer service is this???? I do not recommend this business to anyone ! I prefer to spend my money with an honest, professional, customer satisfaction oriented business even if it means paying more. Since this company has a monopoly on the community college BLET's students wearing apparel , they do not have to fear competition.
