This company came and gave us the best quote of all the roofers we contacted with the best product in the shingle category not metal. They showed up earlier in the month than they said they could after calling to make sure earlier was ok... they did the job removing and applying in 5 to 6 hours altogether and left no trash or nails/screws behind .... they searched with a fine toothed comb and a magnetic roller too to make sure :) They crew and owners were friendly and professional. The office staff was beyond helpful too!

Although damage was far worse than realized on first inspection. Couldn't see it until they starting removing. They were fair and straight shooter. Eddie even brought in a extra crew to get it done before rain came it. They did a GREAT job. I wouldn't go with anyone else!!! Eddie was awesome and did just what he said faster than expected.

Cox and Sons had great service and were very responsive to phone calls, sending material samples, etc. They came out right away to provide an estimate even though we are in a remote, rural location and not exactly convenient to Hayesville NC. Their estimate was fair and slightly below other estimates given. The actual work appeared to be sub-contracted to a construction firm from Tennessee. Our end product turned out great.

Cox & Son replaced our roof a few years back. During a recent rainstorm, we heard water dripping in attic. Checked and found water following a nail through the roof into the attic and hitting a/c - luckily, because that's why we heard the leak. I placed a call to Cox & Son. Matt was here in 15 minutes. He climbed into the attic, saw the leak, insisted on going up on the roof in the rain, even though we had placed bucket under the leak. The cause of the leak was not immediately obvious, so Matt asked if he could come back the next day (Saturday). He arrived as promised, quickly found the cause of the leak, and repaired. Matt was professional, courteous, and friendly. I would recommend Cox & Son without hesitation.

I can't say enough good things about this company. No high pressure or up-selling. I worked with Steve Cox, vp of sales, to achieve a well executed roof. While we encountered some problems, Steve personally came twenty minutes from another county to ensure that we were happy with the job. They asked for no money up front and wouldn't accept payment until we were satisfied. Never had that happen before! If there was a rating higher than A, they should get it. Great attention to a small job.

As soon as the weather permitted, Matt and his crew came out and installed the roof. Matt and his crew were very professional and quick. Cleanup was completed. The roof looks very nice, and I love it. I would recommend this business to anyone.

Matt Cox with Cox Roofing is a very reputable roofer and business man. He is always prompt, professional and his charges are reasonable. He always comes promptly when we call. He even helps us find workers that don't have anything to do with roofing. He's just a good man.

We contacted two roofing contractors in the area for estimates for re-roofing our small 3-bedroom, split level house. Cox and Son provided the best overall price and were helpful in every way, from answering a multitude of questions honestly to providing samples for us to take home and color-test. They were also highly recommended by our insurance company as the best in the area. Once we decided on the color, the shingles were ordered. We had to wait a few weeks because of an abundance of rain and/or snow. But we got a call on a Thursday morning that they were coming out to do our roof. What we were told was initially a 2-day job was started at about 9:00 a.m. and was completely finished by about 5:00 p.m. - that included stripping the old roof, making a small repair where a tree had poked through the deck board, laying the paper, roofing, ridge vents, replacing the gutter guards and thorough cleanup afterwards. The work crew was professional, efficient and fast. My husband inspected the roof when they were finished and was very pleased, especially with how they flashed around the chimney. Now we have a 50-year roof that we won't have to worry about, it looks spectacular and will be here for our kids when we're gone. Good job Cox and Son Roofing!

Cox and Son Roofing were not the cheapest nor the most expensive estimate that we received. But what made them stand out from the rest; was their customer service orientation, their thorough explaination of services, friendliness, and flexiabilty in scheduling. They arrived on the exact date scheduled, they kept the site clean at all times, and the workman ship was impeccable. The roof is gorgeous. We are so pleased with Cox and Son Roofing, We recommend them for future jobs and to everyone else.

Mr. Cox came out to give an estimate, fixed a small leak while he was up on the roof and was very knowledgable on the different types of shingles available.

This roof had leaked for years and had to be replaced more than once. Mark Cox came out and suggested a rubber membrane and I accepted. The old roof was removed and new framing installed and the membrane put down, all intwo days time. Cox showed up at 7:30 each morning and worked yntil after 5pm (which is amazing for a contractor in this part of the country). He had a well organized crew and plenty of them. The membrane looked great and for the 1st time in 19 years I'm confident of no leaks asI watched them tie the membrane into the existing roof and it was done in a very professional manner. It was obvious from the start that Cox and his crew knew what they were doing and took pride in their work. I would highly recommend them for future work.

They did a great job and I was very happy. We had tornados in my area and they fit me in with a little leak when we had lots of people who had major roof damage. I chose them because a friend of mine used them and I will use them again in the future.

Thay did it in one day and you couldn't have asked for nicer people. I liked the price. They cleaned up very well when they were done. I felt very comfortable with the workers.
