Computer Connection

Took my laptop in because it was slow, it kept forcing AVG's homepage and overriding Google which was the set homepage, it needed cleaning as well as checked for a virus because it acted up so much.
The guy behind the counter that took the report seemed rushed, almost like the other people there were more important.  He said it would be ready by Monday or Tuesday but they never called to say when it was ready.  When I called on Wednesday they said it was ready for pick up.
Went to pick it up and again the guy seemed to rushed to be bothered.  He pretty much tossed the sales slip down and requested 35.00. I asked what was wrong with the computer because the sales slip didn't say a thing about anything that was done to it.  When asked he turned to a redheaded young man who said nothing more than, "It had a virus".  The guy rushed getting my payment, again  more interested in the other customers in the store, and I left.
Oh, they did inform me that they were unable to get AVG to stop overriding Google.
Got the laptop home, opened it up it was still filthy, slow and nothing seemed changed for the better.  The sales slip had no number for the store so calling to complain was not an option.  Didn't bother to look up their number due to how they rushed me and gave the impression they didn't care. 
As it turned out I found out how to disable the AVG homepage.  Worse than that a few weeks later when I used a program to do a clean up the settings were all wrong!  The program stays in the same mode of clean up as the one last used and I never use that mode.  So that leaves only one person that used it and that upsets me too.
In short, there was no change in the computer and it cost 35.00.
