Triad started the job on May 9th or 10th, but took a long time because they said they couldn't keep at it because of cloudy days, but they didn't come on the sunny days either. He also used a type of paint that they said was to be very good, primer and paint all in one, and they were going to roll it on to the siding, said it would take around 15 gallons of paint. We only saw 2 1/2 gallons used. It turned out looking like it was put on with a sponge, and they didn't paint the entire house. One of the painters said he didn't want to paint around electrical wires, one thing after another, so they couldn't complete the job, although Brian said several times they would get the job done. Spoke with Brian on May 13th, he said they would need to do 2 coats on the house, but didn't seem to want to finish. The 16th was the last day they worked, and we told them not to come back. Also, he quoted a price of $1000.00, and it was going way over budget, may have ended up costing $2500.00.
"The Information in this Review is absolutely Incorrect. We were originally hired to Pressure Wash the House, but because of the age and condition of the Aluminum Siding, Optimium results were not possible. I advised (deleted member name) that we could repaint the siding for around $1000.00 (cost) and that the job could be completed within 1- 1 1/2 weeks. She agreed. Once we began the job it became clear that it would require two full coats to acheive the desired appearance. (The Paint we purchased was Valspar Duramax, which is supposed to be self leveling and cover in one coat) From the very beginning of the job Mrs. Oakley was difficult to deal with, but we strive to please our customers, so as usual, we pushed through. We also Pressure Washed Mrs. Oakley's garage and driveway, and she was thoroughly pleased. We were on the job exactly one week, and was 80% complete, (even though we had a few rainy days) and Mrs. Oakley called me and asked that if we stopped now, how much would she owe. I informed her that we were over 900.00 invested in the job, but was happy to refund her $200.00 The total amount paid to us was $800.00, so I actually paid out of my pocket to do the work that we did for her. My Painters were thorough and professional at all times and we were operating well within the promised timeline. (deleted member name) confessed to me that "she just has so much going on", and Apolegetically ended our business dealings. I don't really know what else to say except good luck to whomever attempts to do business with her in the future. I absolutely hate to see any customer go unsatisfied, but as I told (deleted member name), apparently I'm unable to make her happy."
