He never call me with estimate.. I contacted him and made another appt. At this time he brought out contractors to review the job but still no estimate. He left and I have never heard from him, no follow up call, nothing in the mail, and still no estimate for the job! I was very upset that he never contacted me. This was a potential $65K job.
Description of Work: He came out for the initial consult was on time and very courteous. I never heard from him so I called him again and we set up a time to meet again. ( I thought to present his plan and cost )

Ed was great, he sat down with us and discussed our needs, taste and budget, he returned his quote with computerized pictures of the finished job. The remodeling made me realize my townhouse was built in a month of Fridays! IE: Surprise!!!... MOLD... Surprise!!!.. Old cabinets nailed into a main drain pipe... Surprise!!!.. Hot & cold copper pipes melted together. Surprise!!!.. Neighbors fireplace leaking forcing water to seep on to my living room floor (found during hardwood instillation). Surprise!!!... Granite cracked while loading on truck. The job took longer to complete than quoted due to unforeseen problems and changes/additions on our part but Ed kept my phone busy on all the incidental and major changes which I expected. Ed knows his prices and is adept at staying in budget without sacrificing quality and style, the man can find a bargain!!! We decided to stay in our townhouse during renovations and dust was unavoidable but the job site was left clean as possible at the end of the day with tools stored neatly. Ed was easy to get in touch with and his subs were friendly and professional. Ed has been spot on at addressing any issues that have come up since the job was completed.
Description of Work: What started out as a kitchen remodel ended up being a downstairs redo... Tore out drop box kitchen ceiling and raised, replaced kitchen cabinets, counters, appliances, sink & faucet, add new kitchen and dining lighting including under counter, and added tile back splashes, removed lots of mold I didn't know existed and replaced pipes with nail holes from original construction. Made kitchen entrance wider. Covered living area & hallway popcorn ceilings with 1/4 dry wall smoothed and matched to height of new kitchen ceiling. Replaced kitchen & 1/2 bath tile and added hardwood floors in rest of living areas. Replaced upstairs carpet. replaced 1/2 bath toilet, sink (vanity) and covered over popcorn ceiling. Added full crown molding thru out, new paint downstairs and upstairs hallway. New front door thresh hold. Added to and enhanced fireplace mantle. Wired/rerouted electrical and phone to accommodate flat screen tv. Whew... I think thats all? lol

Ed Small, the company representative, is very unprofessional and extremely unreliable. He committed to several action items and schedules and never did any of them. He told us he could not bid on a renovation because "an architect was involved", which makes no sense since architects are normally involved in renovations of more than a cosmetic nature. I would never recommend this company to anyone and would warn all that using this company is inviting disaster to your project.
Description of Work: The company agreed to bid on an addition to our home and was giving a set of plans. After repeated phone calls inquiring of the status of their proposal, it became clear that this company could not bid on this rather simple renovation. They agreed to return our plans, but never did.
