The work was excellent and the staff was courteous. We have gotten many positive comments on our lawn. Reedy Creek was very professional and explained in detail the work they were going to be doing. I will hire Billy and his crew for any work I need in the future.

I love...just love the lawn maintenance they do for me and have referred them to a number of people, for lawn service. With the other jobs they have done, I have not been as happy with, but in the company's defense, it was due to Mark, who is no longer with them. When I look at two of those jobs, I still am not happy, at all and plan to correct the problems myself. An area that the company could do...and should do better, is returning calls. Of the referrals, I often hear that they leave telephone messages and no one returns their calls. I have had the same problem. The owner eventually gave me his cell number, to reach him. I hate giving someone's cell phone number out, but I guess I am going to have to give it, when I refer them for lawn service/maintenance. Again....thumbs up on the lawn maintenance. Two thumbs up. :o) :o)

I hesitate to ever give anything but a stellar review as the people doing the work were not at fault at all doing this work. They worked hard and even came back the next day to haul off debris that they couldn't fit in the truck on the first day. The primary reason that they didn't get a fantastic review is lack of any communication. I initially called and was given an estimate in early May. Was told that it would be at least the following week and up to two weeks until they could do the cleanup. Initially I wanted them to do a standard scheduled weekly service, as well as a cleanup, but it didn't work out that way. After the initial estimate, the representative said he had to check a few things with the owner, but never got back to me. I tried calling and posting on their facebook page, but no one returned my calls. Several weeks later in early June, the same representative stopped by to say that there had been a death in the family. I can more than understand that things happen and we agreed they would come and do the work. I again reminded him that I work at home and would appreciate them letting me know when they arrive so I could bring the dogs inside. On 6/10 I heard a mower nearby and when it sounded very close to the house. I looked out and saw the Reedy Creek truck, I assumed that the crew had not been told to let me know when they arrived. They were good workers and as I said, they did a good job. After they left, there was no check by a company representative to see if the work was done as they had described or as promised, I just received an invoice. I paid the invoice and wrote a letter to the company telling them I was looking forward to doing business with them and what a nice job they had done, but no one has ever contacted me nor was any weekly service started. They have done themselves out of a customer by a complete lack of communication. Too bad really, the crew was good. The management, not so much. I wish it had been a better experience.

Came out and core-aerated area but did not remove any thatch/leaves, of which there were considerable amounts. Came back and spread the seed out over the ground and did not work it into the soil in any manner or provide coverage with straw or similar material. The grass came up okay in some area and very poorly in other areas. There was no follow-up with me at all to see if the grass was coming up satisfactorily or not.

they cleaned it up but NEVER EVER told me the amount would be almost THREE TIMES MORE than they usually charged.
I have been using this service for a couple of years and recently because the leaves have been falling.
The FIRST time I personally did all the leaf cleanup and got it down to the curb for the city to vacuum.
The next time I decided to have them come out and clean up the leaves. two weeks later i get a bill for almost THREE TIMES what they have been charging before.
I called Billy and told him i wasn't happy about that and he CLAIMED it took them almost five hours and a lot more equipment - BULL to clean up the leaves.
I told him not to ever come back. i will pay them NO MORE AFTER THIS. EVER. I WILL FIND SOMEONE ELSE WHO DOESN'T LIKE TO SURPRISE THEIR CUSTOMERS. WE NEVER HAD AN UNDERSTANDING ON WHAT THE COST WOULD BE.

"(Removed member name) was quoted our hourly rate for leaf clean up numerous times before this work was performed. We actually comp'd half of the labor on this job, as she was a regular customer and the job took a long time to complete as no one had done anything with the leaves all season. I would have been happy to discuss this situation with her if she could have behaved in a professional manner rather than calling my personal phone after hours and shouting a long string of obscenities without giving me a chance to speak before hanging up."

Billy and crew came out and worked 2 days on a reinforced 12 by 20 concrete pad for a swim spa. In past we have used concrete companies. Price was a bit higher with Billy but quality higher- paid attention to landscaping so minimal damage. Great job. Looks awesome. We had them dye the concrete too - to match brick patio we already had at residence. Fence company working at same time- were able to maneuver around them.

Billy and his team always do an amazing job. I contacted Billy about the project and he came out and we talked about what I was looking for in terms of materials for the walk and retaining wall. As part of the quote, he gave me a list of paver styles that he thought would work best with my house and a contact at a nearby brickyard who could help me with the final selection. Once those decisions were made, we agreed on a start date.
The project ran easily. The team was out here every available day (a couple of rain delays) and worked late most days to get the job done as quickly as possible. The quality of the work is the best. No corners are cut to save on time.
The end result is beautiful and Billy and I have received several compliments on the project from people passing by the house.
This is one landscaping company that understands that your yard looking great is a direct reflection on them.

Originally agreed to do the work on 4/4/13, although Mark stated it could weeks to a month before they could do the work. A month later, no update. After contacting Mark again, he said they'd be out "late next week", but never showed. After contacting Mark again, he gave me another new date. This time time the crew did show up (6/25/13 - almost 3 months later).
The crew did a mostly good job, but there were a couple issues. First, there was apparently miscommunication on where to stack the pile of 1,000 bricks. I stated next to the garage. However, the crew stacked them leaning against the garage. This is a problem because my garage is already structurally unstable. Second, although straw was laid out over all the areas cleared, grass seed was only laid over half the area (this is now clearly evident as the grass has started to grow).
I contact Mark regarding the bricks issue and asked if he could either have them restacked or apply a discount to the agreed price of the work. He refused.
Overall, I'm glad to finally have the area cleared, however, I don't plan on using Reedy Creek again. It took almost 3 months for them to do the job, I had to repeatedly use my time to follow-up with emails, and then after the job was complete they did nothing to rectify the issues I encountered.

When the crew arrived on site, the crew leader met with (Member name removed) to go over the work to be performed at which time the location to move the brick was discussed. She stated that they were to be put "over there against the garage." The crew leader then asked for more specifics by asking "near the front, back, behind the garage?" to which she responed "just over there somewhere." As the work was nearing completion the crew leader asked (Member name removed) to come out and check over everything to which she did and the only concern she had was some additional pruning on a few trees that remained after the clearing, which was done. When (Member name removed) emailed with her concern about the brick a few days later, her request was for a price discount. When the crew leader was questioned about the situation he explained her vaugeness on the placement and that she had looked over the job while the crew was still on site and mentioned nothing of it. (Member name removed) was told that we could not offer her a discount, as the brick had been moved and placed as she instructed, and that we would have been happy the move them again if she had mentioned this while the crew was still on site. To date, we have yet to receive payment for any work performed."

Company rep. was exceptionally nice and had some good ideas, but nothing really happened after the contracts were signed. This has been an exercise in frustration.
Long story short, signed contracts in early April for landscaping work and lawn maintenance. Other than an email advising of an injury to the company rep and a clarification on a certain shrub, we heard nothing else until a response to an email I sent on May 13 telling them they needed to start work on both contracts within a week. They finally sent someone out when it had been one week to do part of the the lawn maintenance work, but single employee apparently wasn't advised about what all was in contract, as all he did was weed (which he did well, I'll give him that) and apply herbicide. No pruning or trimming was done. And we've still never heard back on the landscaping portion even now.
I understand overselling and having to play catch-up. It happens. But I don't appreciate poor/absent communication. With texting, email, and even a phone call, there is no excuse for not taking 2-3 minutes to update a customer on when his work will be started. If delays pop up, tell me and I'll deal with them. I don't expect perfection. But l do expect occasional communication, or at least some attempt to begin the work contracted for.
Contracts are cancelled, and I wouldn't be too quick to hire this company.

"The only contract [member name removed] ever signed with our company was a Turf Management contract. This contract is for weed control, fertility management, and overseeding of the lawn over a one year time period. (overall, 12 treatments provided during 8 site visits) [member name removed] was sent this contract, which had a start date of April 1, in early April to approve and sign. We did not receive the signed contract, which [member name removed] had marked through the April start date and had hand written in a May 1 start date, as well as adding "Heavy weeding of all beds" into the work to be performed section, until May 3. On May 6, the customer called our office wanting to know why no one had been out to service his property yet to which we responded that we had just received is contract and his property had been put on a route and that he would receive his first treatment within the month. He responed that if it could not be done that week he would cancel his contract. We obliged him by send a tech to his property on May 9 to apply a post-emergent, pre emergent, and spring fertilizer, as well as weeding all of his beds, even though we had not contracted to do that. On May 13 [member name removed] emailed stating that he was canceling his contract and would only be paying a one month installement of it. It appears that [member name removed] was not looking for a year round turf care service, but rather a one time property clean up with twelve month no interest financing, which we do not offer."

Reedy Creek has to be one of the BEST landscape businesses around. I've had others come and give estimates and/or provide work for us but I was either not satisfied with their professionalism or their price. Billy of Reedy Creek did everything I asked of him and more for a reasonable price. This is the second time we have used his services. The first was to pour a concrete patio and sidewalk, then put in plantings for us. These have done well now for 2 years. Overall I am VERY happy with his service and plan to use his business for other projects we plan to do.

I had a very good experience with this company from start to finish. Everyone was pleasant and professional. I needed some maintenance and cleanup in my yard beds that I had not been able to get to. The response to my request was quick and the work done was exactly what was needed. I was very happy with the end result and plan on using them for future needs.

I have had the lawn aerated and reseeded before but it has never been done as thoroughly Reedy Creek did. After about a month to allow time for the reseeding, they came out and cutback the overgrown hedges and then installed the pine straw in the beds. In both instances they were punctual and did excellent work.

They first mowed and edged my lawn on August 1 and they did a terrific job. I'm looking forward to working with them this year and to possibly using them on a larger landscaping project next spring. They may not be the least expensive, however their prices are very reasonable and they do great work.

What a great company. Very responsive. The initial work actually took two days because there were so many branches in the yard that needed removal before they could edge and mow. That large dead bush in the front next to the street is gone. Billy gave me some ideas of what we could do in that area.

I first called to have them aerate my lawn. They were punctual and did a great job. I also told Billy that I would like some additional work done. He met with me after the aeration was completed and discussed what else I needed done. We walked the property together and went over all the items needing attention. He provided me with a detailed written estimate and I hired him to do the work. They arrived on the agreed upon date and completed the work. He and his crew did a great job and exceeded my expectations. Once the work was completed, Billy again walked the property with me to make sure they had completed everything to my satisfaction. My lawn and beds look fabulous and in fact I am signing an annual lawn maintenance contract for them to keep my lawn looking great year round. I would highly recommend this company and will continue to use them.
