Pro Paving

Do NOT hire these people if you want any kind of documentation. The work was fine and the crew was great. Once the work was done I asked for a receipt and Daniel said he was busy and I will get it once he was done. I have called repeatedly and was blown off every time. It has been over a month now and still nothing. I will not recommend or ever hire them again.

Daniel came and did my driveway on November 2023 , a 6 months later called him about driveway starting to cumble up at places, he told me it needed to be sealed, he make me a price on it ever time I call him says he is coming, but he is not a man of his word, I finally gave up on him and got someone else, I would advise getting him, not dependable

Daniel with Pro Paving is the worst. If I could give a negative star, I would. Daniel responded quickly to give a quote and to do the work but it goes downhill from there. Our driveway has holes in it, spots have gravel crumbling. He states he will come back out and repair if needed. His business card states he guarantees his work. No No No. Daniel has more excuses than a two year old on why he can’t come out and do any repair work. We had another company come out and said the work was horrible and poorly done. Pay more from reliable companies. In the long run, you will be glad. This guy is a joke!

Daniel was a big talker and we fell for it. He came and did a home in our neighborhood and said he'd hook us up since they already had the equipment there and extra pavement. Being new home owners during covid times we were extremly tight on cash we thought wed never get this opportunity again. Within less then a year they have totally fallen apart. The roads are peeling up like gravel. Im having to go to lowes and buy road filler to patch it constantly. I've got a pothole bigger than a wheelbarrow in the center of the driveway. You can see the gravel coming through the pavement. He came out to look at it and said he'd fix it because it was a mistake he admited they made. We never heard back except for a brief moment that he lied again and said he was gonna come back and then he fell off altogether. We've called and texted and he's completely avoided us now. This is the same case with several of the other neighbors that also wanted in on the "deal" he was offering. Come to find out their driveways are peeling up also. Each time anyone has gotten a hold of him he comes up with all sorts of excuses and promises he'll come but then doesn't respond or flat out lies and says that its normal. We've had other companies come out for second opinions and they agree with us after we were lied too.

He did a great job in the beginning. We had a fire and heavy trucks damaged the driveway. Not his fault. Told him That first time I called and asked for estimate to repair. Multiple calls and texts over last 3 weeks with no response. Very disappointed in Daniel.

My Wife and I had considered paving for several years. The cost was to high. Daniel provided me a competitive quote within minutes. His team came out promptly, prepped the driveway and parking surfaces. They made sure the flow looked good. Even putting in areas our our garbage cans! Truth be told this is one of the easiest recommendations I could make.

Daniel and his team at Pro Paving were EXCELLENT. Daniel responded to my initial request on Angie's List within a day and came out to look at our driveway that same week to give us a quote. He explained what he was going to do in detail and what the cost would be. He was $1000 less than another quote. He started the work in 2 weeks and his team did a quality job - much more than we expected. They ended up taking all of the asphalt out, regrading (it had been done so poorly before), and resurfacing everything - plus an additional area we requested. The clean-up was awesome, and our driveway looks GREAT! Daniel is honest, direct, pleasant to work with, a man of his word, and never charged us any extra for the additional work they did. I HIGHLY recommend Pro Paving.

They did a great job. Lots of years of experience on the job with an owner that works on site with his men. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Daniel was a delight to work with from the beginning of the project to the end. He is an excellent communicator and the work was excellent. His crew worked fast, were courteous and eager to please.

The crew was nice. The job seems to be well done. The only complaint was we specifically asked if he took a credit card at the initial consult and he said yes. After the job was done he said he couldn't do a card payment.. his phone was not set up.. he was going out of town... We do not believe in not paying people for services done so we literally wiped out our savings to pay. He did offer a discount. Not a way to conduct business.

Project was started on 8/23/16 with the removal of existing concrete. There was a lot of moisture under the concrete and immediately the clay soil turns to muck. I talked to Daniel about this and I stated that they need to remove all soft soil and replace with crushed stone (which I offered to pay the additional cost) and was told not to worry, “We do this for a living, we will do it right.” They proceeded to apply crush stone and compact and 90% of base was still soft just walking on it. I then told Daniel they were NOT to proceed pouring concrete until the base was fixed. This turned into a heated debate which Daniel and his crew threatened to walk away from the project. Fortunately, I had only given Daniel a 25% draw. After Daniel talked to his sub for concrete, they agreed to remove soft material and replace with crushed stone. On Friday, 8/26 they showed up to pour concrete. The mix was extremely watered down. I was concerned and was told again "don't worry; we know what we are doing." The first truck completed the sidewalk and 1/3 on the parking pad. At this point the second truck was not here, and I was told it would be about 30 minutes. Ninety minutes later, the first truck showed up, at which point the partial pad had started to set up and the finish work at the control joint could not be finished properly. After the second truck finished, the crew stopped for lunch. I think they took too long, because the concrete was setting up quicker than they could trowel and finish the joints, which resulted in trowel marks, foot prints, and knee imprints in the concrete finish. I am very disappointed in the finish work. I DO NOT recommend you hire Daniel to do concrete work. As for Paving, on Monday 8/29, Daniel started the paving. First, they did not protect the concrete at my barn entrance or the new parking pad, and I have tar stains all over. The started out good, but as they started down the main drive, the finish work quality decreased. The transition point from trucks, the raking and rolling have resulted in a bumpy drive at these areas in which I am very disappointed. One of the reasons I hired Daniel was the reviews. The last point I need to make, is in all of my conversations with Daniel, he always ended by saying, “I am here, I will take care of any issue you have, just call me.” Well, it is difficult to get Daniel on the phone now. 1) His voicemail is perpetually full, so you can't leave him a voicemail, and he rarely answers my phone calls. When he has, he says "I will be out there next week. “ It has been 7 weeks now, and he has not come back and addressed the concrete and pavement issues. I recently had a commercial paving contractor at my house who said the paving is not the best, nor it the worst. I would NOT recommend Pro Paving. For one, Daniel does not have an office location, and the phone number is his mobile phone, so there is literally difficult to contact him after the project. Daniel’s price was competitive to other companies. However, Daniel talks good and he made a point to tell us that he was a Christian, just trying to make a living and I trusted him on his word that he would take care of us and make us happy. I DO NOT recommend Pro Paving, and would not hire them again.

He did a good job. They are hard working people. I have no complaints.

Daniel and his crew were very professional and cared not only about getting the job done but meeting all our expectations.

They had their bobcat here for leveling the drive. While it was not needed to do that anymore and one of the crew didn't have anything else to do. He volunteered to help me get a load of sticks in my truck with the bobcat and he also uprooted a tree for me that I had been wanting to get rid of.

That is service that goes above and beyond.

I highly recommend these gentlemen.

They were very responsive to our needs and schedule. They met us at our property and gave us a VERY competitive quote. They showed up at the agreed upon time and properly graded and completed the work in a very professional manner. We really only expected a single-car driveway, but they went beyond that a paved enough for two cars at the top of the driveway, and even gave us some extra-width paving at the street end.
