The service technician was very knowledgeable and courteous. Did not BS me and was very precise in his evaluations. If all of hartzes technicians are this good than this company should be proud. This tech went above and beyond by inspecting the evaporator, furnace heat ex-changers, capacitors, and compressor amp draw. charged units to 10 degrees sub cooling which is ideal and for the price of refrigerant and labor the cost was very reasonable. I will use this contractor again.

I supplied the part number for the blower motor to Hartz on a Monday morning. They found the part at the distributor in Kannapolis, picked-up the part, drove to my house, installed it, and we had A/C again by 11am. I'd definitely use Hartz again.

They sent 4 techs. They removed my old unit indoors and out. Also removed my old duct work under the house. They put in a new plenum (sp?) and redesigned the airflow to be more equal in my rooms. They fixed wood damage under my old indoor unit. They cut a larger air return and installed a new touch screen thermostat. They put in a new concrete pad and outdoor compressor and a new line set. They finished all this and cleaned up in one day. They also came in under their initial estimate. I am extremely pleased with the work. My system runs much better and for shorter time. I highly recommend them.

They did a great job installing an additional thermostat upstairs and installed duct dampers to control airflow to the entire home. The house is now cool and i run my a/c less often. Great install and i would def use them again.

One of our friends recommended Mike to us. Our a/c went out one Sunday, we contacted him early Monday morning to see when he was able to come and check it out. He was able to come by noon that same day to diagnosis the problem. Mike ordered the parts, and came back and fixed our air Tuesday. He and his team also performed a maintenance check, topped off the coolant, and replaced the thermostat in my home.
I was very pleased with their overall promptness in diagnosing and fixing the problem. Mike is very professional and does quality work at very reasonable price. I have recommended him to my family and friends, and they have had great success with his company as well.

Mike Hartz stated his company installation policy is after completion of a job, customers not tell they were there, and he was right.
--- R-22 coolant getting way expensive and systems being phased out...new coolant systems will use R-14 coolant

Hartz called before they came and arrived when they said they would. The guy explained it all and had it up and running in 15 minutes. They were extremely professional and I felt very comfortable that they knew what they were doing and they were not going to take me for a ride.
