They finally got to my house, as they had real emergencies elsewhere, which was okay with me. They did a fine job.

The job went well...the workers were really nice as well as Mr. Walker and the work that was performed was good. Here recently we had a bad storm and the roof leaked again and I am looking at putting a new roof on my smoke house and possibly the 2 car garage. I called and never got a reply, then I texted and was advised that he would be on vacation and would possibly be out to my home on Tuesday. I texted him the day of to see if he could be out this week and did not reply after I noticed he read the text. I then waited later in the day and texted him again and said, 'I guess you are too busy which that message was read with no response". To be fair, there was a mess up with him sending the bill to me on the original job, he was mailing the bill to my home and address and I do not receive mail at my physical address and I take total blame for not thinking about it. After not getting a bill from him, I did contact him and asked where the bill was and then is when we discovered the mailing address was wrong. However if this is the reason for the failed responses, he should communicate that. Unfortunately, I will be taking my business elsewhere, not because of the wait, but because of failed communications.

Jeff Walker is probably the best roofer in the area. They put the roof on this house in 1995 and it's in great shape. The part that needed work was part of a later addition NOT done by Walker.

Found him on AL with A rating. Called his office. Told I had to call his cell. Called his cell. Told he would come Thursday or Friday two weeks ago. Never showed or called. Called him back 9/12/14. Left message. Never called back. I would never use him. Very independent and non responsive to my calls. He should not be on AL.

He did a fine job.

entire roof was replaced, chimney cap was replaced, All the material used is the best but not like some other estimate I got from others using the not so good material for the money reason. The work was done perfectly. Mr. Walker is a very nice gentleman and his crew is very professional and nice as well. price is reasonable. quality is the fantastic. If you know a little about the roofer in this area (Greenville/Winterville NC), you know Walker's group is simply the best of the best. You definitely can get someone to do the job for you for cheaper price, but that is also with cheaper result. If you are looking for the best result with very reasonable price, Walker's group is the one to go for. BTW, my chimney was leaking before the roof replacement. Sealing the chimney was not one of the job stated in the estimate. Mr. Walker had his people to seal it and even fabricate an oversize cap for it. Furthermore, Mr. Walker even have the high end gutter cover installed for me as the X'mas gife. there is a reason why there are 3 big working crews in Walker's company and the schedule is sometimes still very busy. As a member in this website for almost 1 year and using this website many times, this is the first time I ever want to spend time to write down the review.

They were really nice, but the price was just a little high. I called, I remember they didn't get it when I called, they did call me back later that evening. They got out there, I remember they were prompt, they were nice. I'd give them A pluses across the board except for price.

Great job--prompt and punctual; high quality services. Roof still looks great except for mildew on north side which we expected after 10 years.

It went fine and they were very nice. They showed up on time and left on time. They cleaned everything up. They answered all of our questions and I had no problems with any conversations with them.

I signed a contract with Walker to put up copper gutters and we set a date for installation. 2 weeks later on the day the work was to begin, they never showed up. I called, emailed with no response. I later learned from several people in the business that that was not unusual for Walker to just not show up...

Job very well done. They actually started the afternoon earlier then agreed and was finished early the next day. .

High quality work, still no leaks! It was hard to get on his list because he was so busy.

Came in as lowest bidder on replacing my roof, so I was at first somewhat skeptical. He quoted me the same price I was eventually charged; no additional charges. Prompt, reliable. Best of all, no roofing nails all over my front yard after the service was completed! I was so pleased with him, I have been recommending him to everyone. Can't say enough good things about this service.

Mr. Walker came to work up an estimate at the end of July for a new meatal roof. He explained everything he planned to do in detail, and answered all questions and concerns I had.The estimate was about the same I received from Lowes, but he was removing the old shingles, which Lowes was going over the top of them. I called him a couple of weeks later to go ahead with the job. Within a week his crew was on site installing my new roof. They were very professional and did a great job. The site was left cleaned up, and the roof looks great. I would definitely recommend Walker Company for anyone needing roof work done.
