My son stranded our vehicle in Greenville while visiting his girlfriend at ECU. UAC diagnosed the leaking radiator and fixed it within about 24 hours at a very fair price. I also had them perform an oil change and NC inspection. Great communication. Highly recommended!

The A/C on my husband's truck stopped working so he asked me to find someone on Angie's List. I found University Auto, who had an A rating. My husband was able to take the truck in right away and a few hours later, it was repaired. The state inspection was also needed so they performed that as well. Although my husband was almost sure that he needed a new clutch, the mechanic was able to repair the existing part but did let him know that if it went out again, it would probably need to be replaced. Honest and trustworthy, that's what I think of this shop.

Things went smoothly as always. We depend on Jackie and his son Austin as well as his other mechanics to keep our 2002 car running smoothly. He is honest and trustworthy and prices reasonably.

Many women are hesitant to deal with a mechanic for fear of being taken advantage of. This was a situation where a less than reputable mechanic would have taken advantage of the situation by telling us the truck needed work due to the check engine light being on. In this case, the mechanic was highly reputable and said the vehicle checked out just fine but told us if the light came back on to bring it back right away and he would re-test the vehicle right then and there. We left after incurring a $45 bill for the diagnostics feeling very good about our experience.

UAC has been doing all the work on my two cars for several years. They were recommended by friends and have been great in all respects. They've never tried to push anything on me and are always clear about distinguishing between what really needs to be done and what can be put off.

I dropped my car off in the morning here to get an oil change the day before a trip out of town. The people working here were really friendly and helpful. They knew that I'd be coming in right before they closed to pick up my car and they called me to remind me 30 minutes before close, which I thought was nice. I don't remember how much I actually paid, but I remember thinking it was a little expensive, though I suppose part of it was the convenience of it being very close to the university where I work. I give them an overall "B" rating just because the service I needed didn't really give them a chance to provide "excellent" service anyway. I would definitely go here again.

I have gone to this mechanic for years and with multiple cars. They always do a great job, and go above and beyond to make sure my car is safe and ready for the road. They are honest about car problems, and as a woman going to a mechanic they make me comfortable and I feel like I receive equal treatment as a customer. They also have 24 hour towing which I have used myself and referred for friends!!
