1.  Don't worry about hurting someone's feeling when you call back because your lawn need more work.  Satisfying the customer is every person working for TruGreen's job.

I have been a client for two years. My lawn lost over 60% of the grass. I followed all their instructions for mowing and watering. I signed up for all the recommended treatments. The results were a disaster. I quit the service and switched to another provider and had the whole lawn re-seeded.

I started out with a beautiful lawn and by the time they had had the lawn for a couple of years it looked terrible. Weeds everywhere. Bare spots. They said 'you should have called a manager'. If I wanted to monitor and diagnose my lawn myself I would have done it myself and skipped them.

For 1 1/2 years this company has treated our lawn. This year it is not doing well. We had bare spots and weeds. The TruGreen Chemlawn representative was in the neighborhood and dropped by to offer me their services not realizing I was already contracted with them. We were not on his list of existing customers. He told me about our problem with weeds and offered the services of TruGreen Chemlawn to fix the problem. He was rather embarrassed when I told him we had a contract with his company. When we used them there were several opinions about the problems in our lawn but no solutions. The representative called immediately on his cell phone to get someone out ASAP to address the problems. It has been two weeks and we have not heard from them.

Horrible experience.  Did not show as promised and always had excuses.  Yard looked the same after 2 years.  Customer Service was horrible when trying to cancel their service.

They have been out 4 times during the spring and summer. It is an ongoing year round service unless I cancel. It is $96 per visit. I like everything about them. They are top notch and they have done a good job. My mom had several encounters with the fire ants and they did a very good job with that. I had tried some stuff and didn't do a very good job with it. Trugreen took care of the fire ants so I was impressed with that. The yard next door has dandelions and weeds and I don't know how they are able to keep those weeds out of my lawn because they are just inches away but they have. I will continue to use them especially if we get more fire ants.

I THINK THEY DO A GOOD JOB, BUT THERE ARE VERY FEW COMPANIES I WOULD RATE AS EXCELLENT. THEY ARE ALWAYS ON TIME AND CALL BEFORE THEY COME. THEY ARE RESPONSIVE TO WHAT I WANT DONE.
