The gentleman that came to the house for the inspection was very professional. He thoroughly inspected every area of the house for mold, and made suggestions for how to prevent mold in the future. I did expect for them to point to what exactly the problem was that caused this specific mold problem, so that I could fix that problem, but he didn't do that. This 30 min. inspection alone cost $100. We then scheduled a time for them to come out and remove the part of the wall with the mold on it. To get the whole job done, they had to come back several times throughout the week, and on most days they were late showing up. They did a good job of the actual removal of the part of the wall with mold on it, and spraying of the fungicide. Also, the air filtration setup they used provided piece of mind. It is worth noting that the guy in charge of the operation was very professional and courteous throughout the entire process. They then subcontracted the work to have the wall reinstalled and repainted. This contractor however was somewhat of a disappointment. However, I will speak to that in another report on him since he is a separate contractor and doesn't work for AES. After they were finished, they said that they would mail me a full report on their work which I was looking forward to seeing. After two weeks of not receiving it, I called back to check on it. They apologized for the delay, and said that they would put it in the mail right away. Sadly, I still never did see that report and I didn't bother to call again to check on it. The actual work (not including the inspection) cost me $775 which seems excessive for just replacing a small section of wall.
