PLEASE BE ADVISED! This is a bad Company. This past January the heat stopped working in our home in Winston Salem. Webb came out to take a look and advised that we needed an entire system replaced due to a part that we were told would not be available until mid-March. It turned out that we were able to order the part from a local HVAC supplier, who had 20 of them currently in stock. We were able to get our system running within days with this part, that we were told was not available. We have talked to others who have had a very similar with this company. It seems their main priority, is to only sell new systems, even when a $50 part, is all that is required. This is a very shady way to do business and take advantage of people.

We are very pleased with Webb heating & air. Their services have been great. Scheduling is simple and they are very prompt. Any problems were shown and explained to us prior to repairing. We would highly recommend their services.

I used Webb heating and air to replace a system that was 20 years old. I went with a Trane system that was recommended and being a high energy efficient system. Install was good and on time but that where it ends. In less than 3 years had to replace the a/c coil, at over a $1000 cost with very little assistance from Trane or Webb. Now, I signed up for their service plan from day one, coming out in the spring to service a/c and fall to service the heat. Right after the coil was replaced, during the spring service, everything was fine, month later noticed the system was not cooling good, had them come out and found no coolant in the system, checked the coil and found all the coolant leaked out due to improper installation, coolant was replaced at no cost. Fast forward to this November service on heating system and all good. Go on vacation and less than 2 weeks after they were out NO heat. They came out did some adjustments charged over $100 less than 2 weeks after my service but just wait it gets better. 2 months later wake up NO heat, they come out spend about 2 hours looking for the problem finally say it is a part and it is $250, well of course I say replace it and have someone call me Monday. When tech finished he says the charge is $375, I said you told me it was $250, he then said the service charge on a Saturday, I said have someone call me not paying. He talks with someone and removes $40 and this is after my service plan and the fall service tune up and everything WAS SUPPOSED to be good. So in less than a 2 month period after my service tune up I am charged over $400, THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE, I will never recommend this company again, terrible customer service, if you use them Good Luck, BEWARE!!! The techs that have come out have been polite and professional but that is where it ends, this company has a problem and it is they don’t care about the service they are providing. In less than 7 years I have spent over $1500 in repairs not counting over $200 a year for the service plans, WOW.

Unit is collapsing forward, platform base is cracking, getting worse. Webb Tech confirmed unit is off center. This is a $5,800 unit Webb installed, including the faulty base. Webb returned, took some pictures, had a meeting. They decided to replace the base if I agreed to pay an additional $800.00+. I expected better from Webb after a 20+ year relationship. Canceled my service contract and have turned over all pictures and documents to my attorney. I feel so very betrayed at this point. Mainly because I always felt a type of family trust with Webb. They turned their backs on me for the first time in a 20 year relationship. I feel hurt, lost and concerned about the future of my Trane unit. Very first time Webb betrayed my trust. Also will be the last.

I called to request a quote to repair or replace my 20 year old A/C unit that has recently started leaking water. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to speak to someone right away. All the other companies I called had me leave a message first. The pleasantries ended after I explained that I wanted a quote to either replace or repair my unit. The woman answering the phone used a condescending tone to ask my twice if I wanted either a repair or a replacement. I tried to explain that I would like to repair but that this would be a second opinion to another companies quote who recommended I replace the unit. She further explained that they can either send someone to repair the problem or replace the entire unit. At this point I told her I would call someone else and hung up. I would have preferred that she ask more about my problem instead of just explain their companies policy. It seems to me the same person could tell you if you need to repair or replace something. The other three companies I called were happy to do so. In my 20 years of homeownership I have learned that If a company is difficult to communicate with right from the start it's best to move on and find someone else.

From our first contact this was a really pleasant experience. We were presented with three options , good - better - best. We chose good after a frank and honest discussion with the representative about the cost vs benefits of each choice. He then explained the financing option and made it clear how it worked (36 months 0 interest). He even warned us about how expensive it was if not paid off in 36 months. The actual removal and install was flawless. Crew was here over two days for about 10 hours. Replaced one full system each day. They were punctual, clean, informative and courteous. After install the final check, county inspection, system check out, and thermostat walk through were completed in an hour.

Smooth, but am still waiting for final finish work. I still have their money so I am sure it will be finished. A bit of over promise/under deliver from the sales side. The installation went smooth and the unit works very well.

We are on a contract to get to do the inspection that's the same twice a year. So they did another inspection, so it's no different than what it was in January. You can just copy everything that was done from before cause it's no different. They did the same thing. They did it reliably etc.

I have a contract with them for service. They come twice a year. They installed the heat pump 3 or 4 years ago but they were Williamson at that time.

I think the reason I went with Webb was because they had a cheaper way of installing my new furnace that didn't require a lot of duct work. I've used them for 2 or 3 years and the furnace may be like 5 years old or something like that.

From the initial consultation with Chris Williams, everything about our experience with Webb has been top notch. I feel like they over delivered on our expectations. The system is far better than what we even expected and Webb has been very responsive every step of the way. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

They did catch some problems that I had on the previous visit so I didn't have to pay the full amount for the visit. That saved me some money.

I had a new hvac unit installed in conjunction with Webb and Lowes - they were awesome.
I worked with salesman Chris from Webb and once he realized what it was I needed and wanted in regards to an HVAC unit. He went above and beyond to find one that fit my pricing needs and I couldn't be happier. It was refreshing that him and Jim from Lowes have a very good working relationship and it made me confidient regards to my buying decision.
The installers were also wonderful and professional. I did get more than a few estimates prior in the end Webb came in with the best price and product after working with Chris. It was a stress free install, and the sales rep even stopped by during the install to be sure it was going well.

I hired Webb to do a pre-purchase and quot;2nd Opinionand quot; on a house we are buying in Greensboro. The seller had a service and Refrigerant added by another service provider due to high differential in temperature between downstairs registers (too warm) and upstairs (cooler) and the lines outside not being cool or covered in condensation as would be expected. The humidity was high downstairs, a sign of a weak, overworked AC unit.
Webb tested, and while the temperature spread was closer than prior tests (post refrigerant refill), it still wasn't as expected. They recommended to the current owner to clean the coils on both units. They did this, and both units ran less and cooled more. They stayed to test and did a great job with a 16 year old unit!
Excellent knowledge and advice. I will use Webb as my service provider going forward as they saw what the other company missed.

From the time we sat down with the sales person to the day of the install I couldn't have been more pleased. Everyone arrived on time and assured me that every aspect of the installation would be handled to my complete satisfaction. Once the install was complete every detail was fully explained to me and the work was completed cleanly and professionally. Not that I was surprised as I know Webb's reputation for outstanding service. I'll have to admit that I am neat freak so when we went outside to check everything I was thinking to myself, and quot;okay what will I have to clean up?and quot; Well I'm happy to say that all was in place and neatly done to my satisfaction. They even removed all signs of my old unit which was a huge monster of metal, motors and pipes.
I was so please that after the technicians left I immediatly called the Webb office to let them all know how please I was with everything! I think they were pleasantly pleased to say the least.

Our ComfortMaker units were installed when the house was built in 2000. Williamson maintained them from the beginning and we went about 7 years with no problems at all. Finally the AC units were starting to consistently lose freon. They patched it up and said the rest of the unit was good and to make it last if we could, and we got another 5 years out of them. Finally, at the November inspection for winter, our downstairs package unit had developed a crack that was letting in carbon monoxide. The tech said he couldn't legally leave it operational. We had previously had some quotes from 3 area companies in the spring to consider proactively replacing, and Webb was competitive then, and we had always had great service. We asked them to come out for a quote, which they did the next morning. They promised they could get the equipment in and installed in 3 business days ... and they did! Further, they did business just as smooth as can be - communications were far better than other home services and they did what they said, when they said, and always let us know what they would be doing. They scheduled the county inspections for the required inspections, and that went off without a hitch. It's been about a month and everything is operating perfectly. Lastly, as mentioned above, they even submitted our rebate forms and had the check sent right to us. It's rare to have your technicians, sales staff and office staff all be perfectly aligned and professional, but Webb has.
Glad to be Webb customers and have them do our twice a year maintenance too!

We have a service contract with Webb. For $190 a year they inspect and tune up the gas furnace in the fall and the AC in the spring. Also included in the contract is a 15% discount on parts year-round and first preference for service calls. We had been having an intermittent problem with the furnace, which I described to the technician. However, since the furnace was working fine while he was there, he could not make a diagnosis. Later that afternoon, the malfunction returned. I called Webb and they told me they would send the technician back as soon as he finished the call he was on. He returned within the hour and worked on the furnace for some time, was able to get it working, and it has worked fine ever since. He said it needed a new control panel, but did not replace any parts at that time because we had just purchased the house and there is a home warranty which would cover the parts. We were not charged for the return visit.
