Prior to Sept. 2012 we used Wally Overman for several years on various plumbing projects ranging from reseating toilets to leak repair.  He was always responsive, prompt, and professional, the work was mostly of good quality except for a glitch in repairing a kitchen faucet, and the pricing was fair.  When we got ready to replace a toilet in the master bath, we called Wally to arrange for the installation.  As previously stated, Wally said he would call back to make arrangements but he never called.

Mr. Overman replaced a faucet in our shower. Afterwards, he said he had had concerns about the quality of the faucet we had purchased, but he thought it would be fine after he looked at it more closely. Even though he said it was fine, I would probably have taken it back for an exchange if I had known his concerns.

Arrived on time, neatly presented, with a handy smile. Asked a lot of questions, then went straight to work. Worked well inside with a couple of inquisitive kids, and kept the noise to a minimum. After about 90 minutes, he finished the job, gave us a thorough run down on what he'd done, and charged us a very reasonable rate.

It went great. He seemed to be extremely honest. He charged a minimal fee. I would definitely recommend him.

Great! Wally called before he came to confirm his arrival. He is very personable. When we set up the appointment he agreed to pick up and purchase the new parts that we had ordered from the plumbing supply store. This saved us some money. He installed the new fittings and ensured they were operating properly. He then took a look at the other issues I had identified and added the elbow pipe (though didn't charge us for it). I was very pleased and would call him again for any of our plumbing needs.

Our water heater sprung a leak around 5:00 PM on Monday, September 22. I went to Angie's List looking for a local plumber and found the name of Wally Overman Plumbing. I called and left a message and within 5 minutes Wally called me back. We discussed some options for staying the flow of water. I followed those instructions and in addition drained the water heater. He said that he would come the next day to install a new water heater. He arrived mid-morning with a replacement water heater. He was here @ 1 hour and the job was finished. I had anticipated a much higher cost for a new water heater. The old one was 10 years old and had a 5 year warranty. This new one has a 6 year warranty and should last way beyond that. I like to find small contractors for moments like this. Wally has a very small but efficient business and I highly recommend him for plumbing concerns.

Wally is a great guy, and will always give you an honest recommendation about options. My house is almost a hundred years old so it has issues but I rely on the advice I have received from him about what does and doesn't need to be done relative to replacing, repairing or leaving things alone.

The service man from Wallys knew what he was doing. He was very honest. He gave his recommendations on ways to save money and short term fixes so the decision is yours. He also responds to emergency situations.
