It all went as planned. Jeff Souther came out and went over our options. He put us in touch with the best tile and glass door contractors. He scheduled the job so that we weren't inconvenienced any longer than needed. The workers he sent out Richard, Andre and Joe were the best and I felt very comfortable with them in and out of the house. A+ Contractor.
Description of Work: Total remodel of bathroom. We needed a larger shower.

The actual workmanship and craftsmanship is outstanding. Subcontractors Richard and Chad were prompt, courteous and stayed on the job till finished. did an excellent job Project management was lousy. Calls and e mails were not returned, promised dates for ordering and installation were not kept. Project began in late September and was finished in late November. Work was done in sporatically scheduled tasks. It took constant pressure to get the work done. Calling and complaining to company owners resulted in only temporary changes. As soon as pressure and complaining let up, so did rate of work. We felt like company is managed by the 'squeaky wheet' method and we got tired of constantly squeaking to get our projects finished . The company is prompt on billing and collections. The Office manager is very efficient, personable leaving a nice final feeling to a frustrating experience.

I was promised that my home would be completed in 5 months "give or take a little for weather" by Jeff Souther, . It should have been completed in November, but was completed March of the next year. I was told that I lied about the estimated time of re-build, even though the contract plainly stated 'five' months barring weather. He re-built my home from the flooring up without telling me that the gurders and floor joices were rotten and needed to be replaced. When I asked him why didn't he inform me of the severe wood damages his response was " The insurance company' paid me to work from the flooring up." BTW because the house was in place when I discovered there was something wrong the estimate for repairs ran to $30,000 ' IF' the hardwoods weren't ruined by the work being done. In which case the floors would have to removed replaced again. He was argumentative about almost everything. I called him to tell him the roofers had not installed a roof vent, Without even investigating he told me I was wrong and he knew a roof vent had been installed. After arguing with him that it hadn't he called the roofer, discovered I was right and sent the roofer back to install a vent. I do wish they would have also picked up the coffee can full of nails that I found throughout my yard. I also discovered that my pedal sink was attached to the sheet rock without any anchor, when I leaned on it, tore out through the wall. It has been 5 years since this has happened. I'm still as angry as I was 5 years ago.
Description of Work: This company removed debris from a fire and re-built my home inside.

I was generally pleased with the living/dining ceiling repairs and paint job, except for uncleaned drywall mud marks on the walls adjacent to the ceiling. The drywall man did not use any masking tape on the walls adjacent to the ceiling. I ended up cleaning and doing paint touch-up work to cover the mud marks on my living/dining walls. The sanding and preparation of the kitchen area was unsatisfactory. The Tri-Co manager directed the drywall man to return and do more sanding and ceiling prep work. He made two more trips, but still, the kitchen ceiling was very rough, even after re-painting. Also, mud marks remained on the upper kitchen walls, which I ended up cleaning and painting over. A minor irritant was the drywall man using my vacuum cleaner to clean up his mess. After the re-visits from the drywall guy and painters, I just decided not to fight it anymore.
Description of Work: Scraping off the "blown-on" ceiling finish from a downstairs ceiling over living/dining area and kitchen, repairing water leakage damage in two areas, sanding and painting the ceiling with a smooth finish.
