We have had VOIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) since we started our business. We were approached by Triad Telecom Inc. when we were ready to leave our last bad experience with VOIP. The one thing we have learned is they all promise great things but then they under deliver. here is a list of the problem we had with Triad telecom Inc. Poor Call Quality: We spent several hours of our own researching this problem. They would never send anyone to look at it and would continually blame it on the cable provider and there equipment. Technical Assistance: There Technical assistance consist of 8:30 to 4:30 and rarely do they know what the problem is. They would commonly have servers go down that would take all weekend to correct and when you called them about it you had to leave a voice mail. There Office Location: There is no one there! They all work from home! Thats where the servers are but they dont actually work there. If you need to trade out bad equipment then you need to mail them your old stuff and wait for the new to come. Contract. They held us to a three year commitment that you would need to pay out your contract to quit. The pay out was your monthly min of 150.00 for each month of the contract that is left. Overall They were Untruthful with there Sales Presentation, They misrepresent there ability to provide service, They lack good customer service skills and seem to want to forget about you once they have there contract.
Description of Work: Provide VOIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) from June 2009 to June 2011. Service were to include superb call quality Service attendant Voice mail Message On Hold Professional Assistance on Call The best server system available with out ever experiencing an interruption from them. Caller ID - Displayed on your phone for inbound calls and call waiting inbound calls. Call return (*69) - Dial *69 to call back the last person that called you.Answer second call (call waiting) - Press the flash button when you hear the call waiting beep to answer the second call. Press the flash button again to return to your first call. Three-way calling / call conference - Press the flash button to put the first caller on hold, dial the number you wish to conference in, press flash again once the second call is answered to bring the first call into the conversation.Unattended call transfer - Press #9 to place the caller on hold, dial the number you wish to transfer the call to followed by #. When the phone starts to ring, hang up to complete the transfer.Attended call transfer - Press #9 to place the call on hold, dial the number you wish to transfer the call to followed by #. When the destination answers, let them know who you are transferring and hang up the phone to complete the transfer.Place a call on hold - To place a call on hold, dial #9. To take a call off hold, dial *.Park a call - Dial #8 to park your call and the system will read you a parking number. Once you have this number, you may hang up the phone. To pick the call back up, simply dial the parking number you received followed by #. Advanced calling features can be set and controlled through your web portal from your computer or smartphone. The web portal allows you to:Set your voicemail / web portal passwordSet your telephone's ring timeSet your call forwarding destination(s)Set your call forwarding conditionsSelect your voicemail greetingSet your email notification addressToggle voicemail to email attachmentsView call logsUpload voicemail greetingsUpload music on holdCheck your voicemail messages online
