Sheets Pet Clinic

Dr Sheets is the most caring veterinarian we have ever used. She even writes personal sympathy notes when you have to put your pet to sleep. She runs an adoption service through her clinic and is very engaged with our pets. They are reasonably priced and I would highly recommend them.

Dr Sheets is very knowledgeable and caring. I appreciated that when there was a problem, she opted for the most cost effective option first, especially if tests needed to be run to make a diagnosis. I love that she doesn't like to over-vaccinate. However, it is so busy up there that it is always chaotic and simply picking up meds that had been called in meant I would be there 30 minutes every time. When you have a chronically ill pet and need to be there often, there are so many people to deal with the communication problems become apparent. There are just too many people involved and important information does not get relayed. I took my dog in twice for X-rays signing permission to have him sedated to get the views that were needed, and even after a lengthy phone conversation to determine both Dr and I were on the same page, it still wasn't done. Poor thing was up there are all day with no pain meds, and no food in order to be sedated and he wasn't. So we never got the X-rays needed to further his diagnosis and maybe get him some relief. After being a patient for many years, from the time Dr Sheets was doing mobile vet services, I finally had to leave and go somewhere else. Dr Sheets is fabulous and so are the other vets that I had there. The functionality of the office needs to be addressed because it really gets in the way of the vet care offered.

Best animal clinic anywhere!

I have used this veterinary clinic for over 3 years now and they are so great that I drive an hour to use them. THEY ARE VERY RESCUE FRIENDLY. They offer substancial discounts to 501c3's like myself.

But more importantly, they are very ethical and experienced. They have taken very good care of all the animals which I have sent them. I trust them implicidly. I bring my own animals to this vet.

They do everything from shots, spays/neuter, testing and surgery.

Thank you Sheets for working with rescues to stop pointless and euthanasia. I couldn't do what I do without you.....

Dr. Sheets was very open with us about what she recommended as far as testing. We knew the tumor needed to come out, and she recommended that pathology be done so we knew exactly what we were working with; that way she would know how to proceed. The surgery went really well; Dr. Sheets explained due to the nature of the cancer she would need to take out a lot of the flesh surrounding the tumor as a precaution, so we were not blindsided by the results of the surgery, which were not pretty. The staff there is marvelous, and they took great care of Violet. Dr. Sheets was straight with us about prognosis...most cats don't live longer than about six months or so after a tumor like this. Our cat is still fine a year later. In addition to her superb level of care, Dr. Sheets has the most reasonable prices in town. Not to mention the fact that she believed my cat's tumor was caused by an injection vaccination, so she figured out what company it was, contacted them on my behalf, and the company reimbursed me for the cost of Violet's treatment. All I ended up owing Dr. Sheets was for vaccinations and the shave. During a very difficult time with our pet, Dr. Sheets was compassionate, thorough, and completely transparent about all procedures. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is the primary care provider for both of my cats now.
