The build had its issues but I cant get them to fix their mess ups. Below is what I have posted everywhere I can... The house was built OK. I only say OK because I was on top of everything from the start and caught some pretty shady crap that they were doing. The first was my low E windows were put in on this one day and I noticed the next day we had an inspection. Well the very next day after the inspection my mother in law drove by and noticed all the windows were out of the house. When I showed up I noticed they took out the Low E windows and put in regular double pane windows. I questioned it and was told these windows were better. I called BS and made them put in the Low E. Later on I was running the cable wire throughout the house and noticed the electrician had run staples through power wires. This made me inspect every bit of wiring in this 2700 sqft house. Need I say this took some time but I found 3 more staples running through the wires. Can you say Fire? So here we are 9 years later and more issues are coming up. About 5 years ago I noticed I had two different color vinyl siding on my house. I called Schumacher. A guy came to my house (while I wasn't there so who knows if he really came) and told me they can’t do anything about it because I could of had wind damage and replaced the vinyl siding with the wrong color. First of all I didn't have any wind damage and second I've never seen wind rip siding off from all sides of a house. If the wind is blowing from the east how could I rip the siding on the east side of the house? This wrong colored siding is on all sides of my house. It’s even on the front patio part that is under cover and would take a tornado to cause it to come off. I let it go because I figured there was no way to fight it. Fast forward 5 years and now the metal trim that wraps around my roof line is starting to peel off (see picture). In the picture of the peeling you can see a discolored piece of siding also. There are a lot more pieces than this but they do not show up good in pictures. So once again I call and get a hold of the new GM Rock and all he is willing to do is give me the phone number of the siding company. I would think that they would have more pushing power to get this company to fix the problems but Rock decided it was up to me. I would not recommend Schumacher due to the customer service alone. I have kept quiet for a long time about this company but now the gloves are off. I'm letting the BBB know what is going on also along with any review site I can find.
