Erika at Re-Bath of the Triad persisted and I am glad she did. Because I did relinquish and talk to their representative before I going ahead with the 24 hour "One Day" folks. I needed a complete remodel of my main floor bathroom, and I mean even the flooring. They actually gave me a stunning Full Bathroom remodel for Near the same price the other company was charging for a just a shower. And when Re-Bath of the Triad says, " down to the studs" THEY MEAN IT. I had bought the home in 1998 and it still had the pathetic, aged, bath surround and prior history of 2 failed toilet and sink installs. The dark , stunning flooring, the new vanity sink made of mahogany, the walk-in shower with Brazilian wood seat that folds up or down as needed. The Fixtures are fashionable as a well as dependably functionable. And the One fellow (Chris F.) is the maestro who masterfully handled the entire install. A true artisan /Craftsman. His attention to detail and pride in the job "BEST DONE" ..made me weep with happy tears. The walk-in shower is all a anyone could ever hope for.*The floor was taken down to the original 1905 beams .. and built back beautifully with dark flooring that I had chosen. I could see my cellar underneath. I have seldom been this delighted with an a man-made environment. But this is Everything.

Great job, from start to finish. Tim, our consultant, was very helpful... never pushy, but offered many suggestions/ideas. Scott, our installer, seemed to work nonstop on the projects, tearing down enclosure to the base, and rebuilding step by step. Scott was efficient, using tarps and covers on nearby shelves, and cleaned up when work was done. Each project took 2 days.

SHOWER We highly recommend Re-Bath of the Triad. We did some homework before selecting the firm for the installation. We selected Re-Bath. They replaced our old fiberglass shower with a new Durabath shower. It is convenient, safe, and easy to use. It is also easy to clean. In fact, it almost doesn’t need cleaning. No mold. No leaks. Re-Bath first starts out with a layer of OSB board, then applies a layer of Denshield, which has a fiberglass covering that is mold resistant. Then the Durabath material is applied to the Denshield. There are various materials used to make the shower walls and pan. Fiberglass is the most prevalent. The fiberglass used today is said to be easy to scratch, will easily get dirty, is often hard to clean, and frequently cracks. Of about 15 people we talked with who had showers replaced, 3 or 4 had fiberglass showers previously which had cracked, become un-cleanable, or could not be kept free of mold. Acrylic is better. Then there is a group of products made with various other substances. They all, I believe, have an acrylic base. Besides acrylic they contain marble dust or granite dust or something like that. DuPont produced the first such product branding it Corian. Still more advanced (in terms of hardness and smoothness of surface and hence in terms of mold prevention, ease of cleaning, etc.) are products such as Durabath, which is a Re-Bath proprietary product. Re-Bath’s record on the BBB and Angie’s List is just about impeccable, some others were good, one was not so good. Re-Bath’s references were all between happy and euphoric. For others, references were happy. The personnel at Re-Bath seemed at least as qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable as any and clearly better than some. When I asked Jay Koehler, one of the owners, about safety in the shower, he pointed out that any very hard, easy to clean material will get at least somewhat slippery when you add soap and water. So use a bath mat. Well, others had been trying to convince us that their product prevented slipping. This came across that Jay was looking out for our welfare rather than spending his energy extolling his product. I liked that. (Of course, it is not impossible that the other products are non-slip; I doubt that and certainly am not going to take the chance. We will use at least one shower mat.) When all was said and done, it was clear that Re-Bath has a super product. One other firm may have as good a product, but they were much more expensive. There was at least one firm which we think would have done a good job, but Re-Bath has better materials and track record. Re-Bath cost more than that firm, but the difference seemed worth it. There was a time, when moving into my first home, that I was thrilled with a fiberglass shower that was terribly hard to clean and scratched by the end of the first week. It was, however, infinitely better than trudging through the snow at night in sub-freezing weather to a privy. Now I want a shower that is safe, durable for the long term, needs very little in the way of cleaning, and will not mold. If it looks nice, so much the better. Also, I want my money’s worth. We got this and more with Re-Bath. We are very happy with Re-Bath and recommend them highly.

They did an outstanding job. It took about 6 weeks for them to get to me but once they started it took one week. Charlie was the man who did the work for us and he was very nice. He did not make a mess and he cleaned up very nicely every evening before he left. He was like part of the family after the first day. The work was very professional and done very quickly. I would definitely recommend them. Work included moving the washer and dryer from upstairs to downstairs.

It went well, Rebath did a nice job but I had to organized getting the floor, ceiling and top of the walls done by another company around rebath. Would have had it done by 1 contractor if I had it to do again.

They were efficient and professional. Before the actual install, the designer helped to make sure that the walk in shower would be easy to use by my 96 year old mother. They had great ideas that worked wonderfully.
The only thing is that I ordered brushed aluminum door frame. The frame looked brass to me. Even though I didn't really follow up on the issue until a couple of months later, they did send someone out to look at it and agreed that it did not look like the brushed aluminum. They replaced the door frame.
Although they have assured me that the frame is brushed aluminum, it still looks too brassy to me, but better than it did. I loved their service but not the product.

"[Member name removed], Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback. I'm sorry you're not happy with the finish on your shower door. I checked with the manufacturer and the finish is brushed nickel as was specified, but it may not be what you were expecting. We would be happy to replace the shower door with a different finish. If you would like to see what else is available, please call our office. If you find something you like better in the same price range, we'll be happy to replace the door at no charge. Please call our Raleigh office at 919-782-9200 and ask for Jo-Anne. Your job was done by our Raleigh company. Sincerely, Tim Koehler"

Our installer, Stan Gingerich, was much more of a craftsman than his job title implies. He did a beautiful job, fielded our numerous questions with great professionalism, and made great suggestions. Stan even took care to leave the work in progress in such a condition that our cats would not hurt themselves if they accidentally got in the room. Our shower is now nicer than those of many luxury hotels we have stayed in!

Awesome. They showed up when they said they would! 2 days before beginning the work they called and explained everything. They mentioned that my wife and 2 small children would probably want to go visit grandma for a day and night bc of fumes. The guy who performed the work was very courteous and professional. They had to do a little more work that what they expected, but honored their quoted price. Did a great job. I would recommend them to anyone.

Installer seemed very conscientious, always cleaned up after himself, and did what appears to be a first class job. We are very happy with the way it looks. We have not moved in the house yet so it has not been used regularly, bit it seems to be a nice job.

The good:
The gentleman doing our work (Aaron) was extremely professional and courteous. He basically finished the job in only 3 days, even though we had been told that it could require a 4th day.
We really like the appearance of the materials we chose. It's much nicer than our old shower.
It is MUCH easier to clean our shower now. No more mildew in the grout to clean!.
Issues:
The gentleman who drew up the proposal left a few things off of our contract proposal, including -- not checking the box for how thick the shower glass was and not including the ceiling in the proposal. Though this was probably an honest mistake, I like everything to be spelled out very clearly in any contract. It helps both the seller and the buyer and keeps both parties happy. Check your contract proposal carefully and have them rewrite it, if necessary.
We had several issues with our shower door not being exactly right. The supplier they use for shower doors is not the greatest. This wasn't Re-Bath's fault, but I was unhappy with their choice of this supplier.
A couple of tiles (outside of the shower) were damaged during the initial installation. These were replaced with a small slab of Corian.
Another tile got chipped, when two workers accidentally nicked it with the shower door. This was fixed by a contract tile repairman that Re-Bath sent out (no charge to us) and he did an amazingly magnificent job. The tile that was chipped now looks perfect.
Bottom Line:
You should know up front, that Re-Bath is not inexpensive. HOWEVER, there are several things that set them apart from any of their competitors -- Including:
They can finish a project VERY quickly, compared to a general contractor.
You can go to their showroom and pick out the exact materials you want to use (and see them in a tub or shower display).
They ONLY do bathrooms and this makes them very good at what they do.
It's a quality product.
But MOST of all, THEY STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK -- no matter what. If you're not happy, they will make it right. That is my main reason for giving them an overall "A".

Re-Bath of the Triad had a warranty. They work was so beautiful when I saw it I just squealed. The man that initially contacted me and came out was very thorough. He went over the background on his company, and then he listened to exactly what I wanted. I told him I wanted everything more than just getting a new shower. He had tons of sample so I could see the product, hold the product and touch the product, I didn't have to see it in the picture. I had in my mind what kind of sink I wanted. I had a picture and everything and then he said they had it and they could do it, but then he told me all the cons as to what I picked out and it made a lot of sense, so the salesman was so knowledgeable. He spent three hours with me before we even decided that he was going to have the account. He said it would be five weeks before he could get to me and they got here before that and they said it would take five days and they were done in four. I would recommend them to anybody.

Excellent across the board. Previously had the same service performed at a former residence in 2008 and liked their work and the quality of item installed at that time that we did it all over again in our current residence purchased last year. At first glance the prices may seem to be on the high side but now two experiences later has taught us you get what you pay for, no hassle timely punctual installation, and a product that has been 100% hassle free from the day of installation. Can't say enough of the various folks that got involved to overcome the wiring challenges this home presented - the quoted price was the charge, not a penny more. Over the three day installation, full workdays throughout and very thing was cleaned/put away each evening. Having already engaged their services twice, I can highly recommend them to others.

They've done excellent work. The guy that put it in was really good. The only thing I would say is that the price was a little high. For what they've done, I guess it was worth it.

Overall it went pretty well. The new shower was installed upstairs in a cape cod style house. This meant that the far end of the 60 inch deep shower was 4.5 feet high because of a knee wall. This in turn meant that everything other than the shower base was going to have to be customized. For these reasons I chose Re-Bath. Re-Bath sent over a sales rep who looked at the bathroom and he described how the shower should be done which was pretty much how I had visualized the shower being done in my mind's eye.
It took about 4 weeks to complete the job from start to finish. The shower walls were fabricated to look like granite. What took the most time was fabricating the tempered plate glass door and plate glass enclosure to fit the sloping ceiling and knee wall. The finished shower is beautiful and exactly what I wanted. The price seems a little high to me, but this was not a situation where I could have ordered a shower enclosure off the shelf and have it installed.

They tore out the old bath tub and plumbing. They removed the old tile walls around the old tub. They then installed
a new shower pan and drain. They installed new valves so that there would be a hand held shower head and a
regular shower head. The new valves controlled the water flow and whether the water would come out either head or both.
They installed wall surrounds and all trim, even around a window that is located in the stall.
They did not pressure us at all to have the work done. The salesman explained in detail what was involved with the
work and how long it would take. Everything was done as promised and finished ahead of the allotted time.
