Moved into my home in the fall 2012 - Maids of Honor was the service that the previous owners had used. I continued the service biweekly, and I have been very pleased. They have been very punctual, and the office has been flexible if I need to reschedule - even last minute. They have only asked to reschedule a couple of times - when there has been a snow day, or something like that. One time after they had cleaned I noticed that they missed some things - as though they were rushing or not paying attention. I called the office, and they offered to redo the cleaning. I declined - just asked them to slow down next visit. They still discounted the service for that week because I was not 100% satisfied. They are reliable, professional, and very pleasant to work with. And most importantly, I have trusted them to be in my home.

I called Maids of Honor requesting that my house needed to be cleaned. I had planned on getting my house cleaned weekly and I understood that since my house had not been professionally cleaned in a while that additional time might be necessary to complete the cleaning for the first time. I was told a price of $89 for the first cleaning and if additional time was required that I would pay the following week. The date was set to 10/27/11 for the afternoon. I was told that I would be called that morning to let me know what time in the afternoon someone would be there. I had planned on meeting them there for the first time cleaning.
On the morning of 10/27/11 at approximately 8:30, I received the phone call that they were on their way. I told them that I couldn't do it that early and they changed it to around 10 or so, which was still earlier than the afternoon that i had been previously told. Once the ladies arrived at around 10:30, I walked them through the house. After about 30 minutes or so, one of the ladies asked me what did I really want cleaned that day since I had only been allotted 1 1/2 hours for cleaning and there was only two of them cleaning that day. I was completely shocked because I thought that I was getting my entire house cleaned. I told the ladies that I definitely wanted my bathrooms and kitchen cleaned and vacuum my floors. At around 12:30, the ladies said they had done all they had time for which included my bathrooms, vacuum, and wipe off my kitchen counters. I was also told that my charge was $125 since they went over there allotted time. Since I had already written the check for $89, I did not write an additional check with the intentions of calling the Maids of Honor office to discuss this additional charge and the concern that my house didn't get cleaned.
At the first of the following week, I called the Maids of Honor office to express my concern and disappointment that I paid to have my house cleaned and did not get my house cleaned. I was told that my house needed a lot of work and that he had been short one lady that day so he couldn't get it done. I was also told that he couldn't clean my house and not clean someone else's house that was also on the schedule. I was also told that I wasn't 16 years old so I should understand that when he didn't have someone show up for work that he couldn't get things done. I expressed that I did understand that but I would have liked to have been informed that my house would not be able to be cleaned and I would have re-scheduled. I expressed my concern in paying additional money when my house wasn't completely cleaned and that I shouldn't be penalized for his staff shortage. At this point, the man started raising his voice and told me that I was really "p******" him off. I hung up when he told me to "Go to H*ll". I sent payment for the addiitonal charge even though I didn't agree.

Overall everything went and continues to go well. The team that comes to my house is responsive if I point out anything missed and best of all speaks English....not that I have a problem with foreign workers, I simply expect them to be able to communicate easily and efficiently (not all firms provide that). One small complaint is the sometimes slow response to telephone messages - it appears that the phone always goes to a voice mail with a man's voice (owner?).

THEY ARE A VERY WELL MANNERED TEAM AND THEY DO A GOOD JOB IN A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME. THEY DON'T CHARGE TO MUCH AND THE PRICE THEY GIVE YOU IS USUALLY WORTH IT.
