Luis Manchola -Appliance Repair

Luis was very professional. He got back to me to set up an appointment in a timely fashion. When he came to my house, he explained the problem, talked about the repair, and worked neatly and efficiently. I would highly recommend this gentleman for appliance repair. He also charged a very fair price for repair.

Luis was very responsive from our first contact. We talked over the phone about the issues with the dryer, and he gave me an idea about what it might cost, since we were unsure whether or not it was worth repairing. He was punctual for our appointment, polite, and he even came armed with shoe covers, which was wonderful for me, since we don’t wear outdoor shoes in our home. Luis replaced the burnt out heating element, he had the part in his truck just in case because of our conversation, and checked the hoses on the dryer and under the house. The issue was resolved, and he put everything back in order and was out the door in about 35 minutes.

When our refrigerator stopped working we checked Angie's list for prospective repair services. Based upon a favorable rating, we selected Luis Manchola Appliance Repair. We could not have been more pleased. As indicated by other reviews he placed a protector under the refrigerator as he pulled it out so that the floor would not be scratched,and after doing an extensive diagnosis he found that the part that was needed could not be found locally so he immediately ordered the part while at our home and then came back and installed it on the day promised. I am very impressed with his knowledge and repair skills, and his ability to communicate the problem in a way that I could understand. He even called a few days later to see that everything was OK.

Fixed dryer and also found that my dryer vent hose was disconnected from the roof vent. Stayed late until the work was completed. Incredibly professional and conscientious.

Very well. Repaired the lid to fix the scraping sound. We went ahead and cleaned out the vent stack, dust from the unit, and replaced the door latch. Quite pleased.

Came out to assess issue. Ordered replacement part and came back to repair. Very prompt and very fair pricing.

Luis is amazing! He's wonderfully nice, very flexible, and quick. But most importantly he gets the job done. We had a previous repair man say our dishwasher would cost $1000 to repair but a new one only cost $1100 so we should just buy a new one (from his company, of course). When the dryer was making crazy noises I was worried it too was going to need replacing. But Luis got the parts for the dyer and fixed it for about $140. And he unclogged the dishwasher for $60 (the other repair man charged $80 and didn't even get his hands dirty!). Then he even called back the next day to make sure it was working. And it was: like a brand new dishwasher! Luis is the real deal when it comes to repairmen: he's not a salesman in disguise! He's A+ quality. Highly recommended.

I called Luis to repair my leaking drain in my refrigerator.  He brought the replacement part but because of issues that were not obvious to me we could not move the refrigerator out of the cabinet where it was installed. Because of this he was not going to charge me anything for the service call except for the part which I will eventually use. I told him that this was not fair to him and paid him anyway for his time he spent trying to move the refrigerator.
I will use Luis again when the need arises.

Luis is very professional and does great work. I highly recommend and will use him for future appliance repairs. Do not bother contacting the local appliance store.

It went well enough, the dishwasher got repaired! The mentioned date, and cost of repair, are estimates based on my not wholly reliable memory.

Luis installed the board and he told me to use the oven/broiler to make sure it is working well. Yesterday, I used the oven without any problem. Since the oven is old, I will forgo using the Self-Cleaning option because of the high heat that is needed for cleaning.
Luis recommended that I use a cleaning product for ovens instead of risking a problem and yesterday, he called me to see if the oven was performing properly. 

Mr. Manchula corrected the problem within an hour. He was a very nice, polite gentleman and I would honestly refer his services to others.

I highly, highly recommend Luis for appliance repair. He arrived on time, ready to tackle both the range and the refrigerator. He is professional, experienced, and more importantly, resolved a couple of appliance repairs that are typically a snap, but turned into more lengthy challenges without price gouging. He's by far, the best it Greensboro!

Luis responded to my telephone call promptly and when he came to the house, he was prepared with a panel to move the refrigerator without scratching the floor.  He is extremely clean and neat and repaired my refrigerator in a professional manner, showing me exactly what he needed to do, etc.   I thought his price was very fair, and he called me the next day to be sure that everything was working!   I would recommend Luis to anyone who needs appliance service.

Luis did a superb job in all respects. He is very professional and very capable and very reasonable with respect to cost of service. He knows his stuff and his honesty, integrity and trustworthiness comes through loud and clear. In addition he provided extremely prompt service. As a 79 year old, I have dealt with many appliance repair people over the years and I have never had better service than that provided by Luis. He is simply the best!
