Furniture - Sales
We will never ever purchase anything from Klaussner Furniture again. Not only did our order NOT arrive within the 30 day timeframe as quoted (more like 60 days), but all of the pieces, save a single bedframe out of several rooms of furniture, had to be returned due to severe defects in quality and construction.
This was after numerous phone calls inquiring about delivery and even more conversations trying to resolve a number of issues.
Even after calling the president of the company and then having the store manager and director of quality come to our house (after a few missed appointments) to examine the defects, they were still unwilling and uncooperative to make things right, especially concerning the 3' gash in our wood floor caused by a missing plastic foot and exposed nail on a couch and their careless furniture delivery.
In the end, I was forced to file a claim in Small Claims Court in Asheboro (where Klaussner is Headquartered) and handily won damages totaling $690.80 for the damaged floor despite their ridiculous claims that they were not responsible (it was THEIR delivery service's responsibility) or that I had somehow caused the issue.
