We moved back to the USA after living overseas for 13 years. We began researching the GSO area a year or so before we left our overseas location. We made contact with Tom Alexander at Keller Williams. From that point on, I have never come across a more professional and driven individual in my life. Tom gave us a complete and very thorough overview of the area. He told us which schools we would most likely want our daughter to attend. He told us areas to avoid and all the reasons why. Overall, he was a life saver.
My husband came back to the U.S. on a business trip and met with Tom. He showed him several homes in a variety of areas to see what he liked. It took us about another year to actually make the move. We rented a home for the first 10 months to get the 'lay of the land.'
During this entire time, I went out with Tom constantly, looking at dozens and dozens of homes. He must have the patience of a saint as he always remained enthusiastic and ready to show me anything I had the slightest interest in.
In the end, we found a home in Oak Ridge. Tom was there with me through the entire process (husband had not arrived in U.S. yet). Keller Williams is so fortunate to have Tom. And we were so very lucky to have come upon him while overseas (via Internet). It turned out to be one of the best encounters we have ever had.
