Mr. Lopez was very professional and arrived on time for our estimate. He went on roof and took pictures of some spots we knew were problem spots and areas that we weren't aware of. He answered all our questions about the addition of the ridge vent. He also gave us great information on picking the color. The person in the office was very nice. One phone call was not returned but all the others were and she was very knowledgeable about the operations of the office and the work crew. I was not pressured to buy all the "whistles and bells" and therefore the price was more reasonable than other estimates. Crew arrived about 6:30 a.m. and was finished and cleaned up by 3 p.m. Left property in good shape picking up and removing trash. This company was highly recommended by a contractor friend.

I had a section of my roof that had water damage. I found Lopez roofing on Angie's list.  I called the roofing company early in the morning.  Mr. Lopez came to my house that afternoon to give me a quote.  He told me exactly what needed to be done and how much it would cost. His workers came within 24 hours to fix the roof and Mr. Lopez went up on the roof to make sure it was completed to his satisfaction.  I am so glad I found Lopez roofing.  They did a great job and I will recommend them to my friends.

I called J Lopez Roofing at 8:30am to have them come out and give an estimate and repair the roof. By 11:45am, the repair was complete. They were very friendly and accommodating, from the receptionist to the roofers. The replacement shingles matched perfectly. I would definitely used them again.

The did a good job with replacing the roof and completed the work in a timely fashion.

From the first phone call to the office, the folks at J. Lopez provided great service.  I got quotes from 4 companies and J. Lopez was by far the best quote.  The lady that works in the office was very friendly in scheduling the work. On the day the work was to be done the materials were delivered at 7:15am, the crews (about 15 workers total) were there by 8:15 am, and the work was complete by 5pm.

Lina was very responsive. She got back to me with an estimate and scheduled the work immediately. It was a small job but they handled it very professionally.

I had to call on the J Lopez company three times last summer! Three times branches punctured my roof. The biggest one I did not know about until the ceiling in my living room started leaking. In that case, the branch had gone through the roof completely, into the attic, damaging the surrounding roof area. It was a beautiful repair, I went up on the roof to see for myself. All the damaged roof was removed and new boards, were fitted in very neatly. Then new shingles were matched in, also very neatly. That one cost $250.
The second repair was a modest one, again a branch pierced a shingle, but no substantial damage to the wood/roof below. $50. And third time a large branch came through my front porch, even pushed some of the underside of the porch roof onto the porch floor. It's a flat roof with a kind of tar paper roofing. The J Lopez company fixed the top part and I had someone else complete the underside repairs. $150.
Each time the service was timely and very well done. The guy who came out each time was very professional and good to work with. Nothing has leaked and it has been almost a year for the first one.

We had a strong winter storm on Wednesday, Feb. 12 that resulted in a lot of blowing snow. On Sunday 4 days later I was watching TV and noticed wet spots on the ceiling for the first time. I knew immediately it must be from melting snow because I had been really impressed earlier by the amount of snow that had got through a little crack around my garage door. Monday I called J. Lopez roofing and they sent someone out to inspect the roof. They confirmed my suspicion and found wet spots and wet insulation under the roof ridge vent pretty much the length of the house. I requested a quote on replacing the vent which they provided the next morning. The existing roof was only 4 years old. There was some discussion about the quality of the job regarding the installation of of the existing vent. I decided to go with replacement of the vent. I kept a section of roof vent that was removed so I could inspect it. It was a Cobra roof vent and appeared to be of good quality. It had been very well secured and I concluded the previous contractor had in fact done a good job and any issues with the vent installation were cosmetic. The snow simply had been blown through the vent opening on the north side of the house and came in through the attic opening. I specified Cobra Snow Country roof vents to be installed as the replacement vents which J.Lopez roofing did use. In the triad when it comes to ridge vents blowing snow has to be taken into consideration especially on steep roofs that face north and east it seems to me.  

The work was well done, they were excellent and friendly.  They were on time, gave me the best price and their work was outstanding.  I recommend them.

Tore old roof off and replaced with new roof.  All work completed within one day.  Workers cleaned up all debris.  Owner is easy to talk to and workers were efficient and polite.

From our first contact with Lopez roofing we were impressed by  their  punctuality and professionalism.  A man from Lopez roofing came to measure and survey the work the same day I called to ask for an estimate.  The next day a second employee hand delivered a neatly typed cost estimate. Lopez won out over three competitors to earn our business. The roofing crew arrived on time and ready to work.  They quickly removed the old shingles.  Then they cut out pieces of plywood  to replace instances of rotted wood on the roof deck.  They installed the new shingles using hammer and nail.  From what I learned in researching roof installation this is the preferred method and used by the best roofers.  Mr. Lopez was adamant in telling us that his company only hand nailed and never used a  nail gun to roof.  He personally brought the shingle samples to our home and helped us pick the right color for our new roof.  At our request, he recommended a painter/carpenter to do some repair on the fascia board and soffit.  This man asked if he could work on Sunday.  He worked by himself all day Sunday removing the old gutters which we decided to replace since we were getting a new roof.  The next day he and two helpers replaced rotted wood in the fascia and soffit area and then repainted the fascia and soffit.  Although this work was separate from the roof job, it needed to be done before the roof was put on. 

When the roof was complete three roofers circled our house with magnetic rollers to pick up any stray roofing nails.  All debris was picked up and tossed into a dump truck parked in our driveway.  This same truck held the old shingles that were tossed down from the roof as they were removed.  They also blew down the walkways, rear deck and the driveway.  In all honesty they left our property cleaner than they found it.

I gladly recommend Lopez Roofing for first class workmanship at a competitive price.

They did a great job. There was actually a problem, we had a big rainstorm and some of the flashing had not been installed properly but they guy came out that very day that I called and made the repair quickly and did a great job. I would recommend him to anyone. It was great value.

The work was scheduled to be started at 9:00 AM and the J. Lopez crew arrived on time and got to work right away.  They coordinated very well with the HVAC contractor and were careful not to damage our gutters with the heavy 30 ft ladder required for access to the roof.  The ladder had standoff bars attached to keep it off the gutters which have newly installed gutter guards. This is the best roofing contractor I have ever used and will certainly employ them again when the need arises in our 28 home HOA community.
