After removing the old gutter guards and gutters, Mr. Jones told me that the gutters themselves were corroded and should be replaced; I asked him for an estimate to add this to the job which he never gave me although I asked multiple times for this.  During the job itself, he never showed up before 10:30 in the morning and never worked past 5:00, took long lunch breaks and made numerous personal phone calls while "on the job."   He left all of the discarded materials in our driveway and yard during the Thanksgiving holidays although we had told him we were expecting company.   When he "completed" the work, he asked for a payment of over twice his original estimate.  We refused to pay him that amount, as his labor to put up the new gutters was not that much more than re-installation of the original gutters would have been (we paid for all of the materials).  His work was shoddy and we've had to ask him to fix leaks and gaps in the gutter guards multiple times.  I would NEVER use him again and never recommend him for any job.
