Hughes Garage Door Service

I had 3 companies come out for estimates. Hughes Garage door not only had the best price but was the company I felt most comfortable with. Tony and Daryl did a great job and were very professional. They explained all that needed to be explained and didn't do, nor charge for the things that we didn't need to be done. It has been my experience that small businesses, since they don't have the huge overhead that larger companies do, tend to sell you only what you need and at a more reasonable price. This was certainly my experience with Tony Hughes. You can trust Tony completely and with any kind of house repair this is extremely important. I would recommend that you not have any service or repair done on your garage door until you talk to Tony.

Tony is very prompt and pleasant to work with. He had to order the door panel. When it came in, he did the above work in a reasonable one and a half hours. He had told me the panel would be primed, but when it arrived, the dealer told him they were no longer doing that. I should have had him leave it for me to prime before I let him install it. It would have been a lot easier to paint! My door now looks great and is much quieter and smoother when operating.

He did a great job and was very fast as well. His quality was excellent and he even gave me tips on how to maintain it. I would highly recommend him.

I noticed that one of the cables on our garage door was loose. Called Hughes and spoke to Tony about a tune up and asked about a threshold and nylon rollers. He was extremely professional, gave me a reasonable estimate, and was able to come out that same afternoon. When he arrived, he talked me through what would be included in the service of the doors (tighten spring and cable, lube doors and make sure they were aligned correctly). We noticed that I already had nylon rollers, so no need to replace them. He also installed a Storm Shield threshold. I was extremely impressed with his professionalism, knowledge and his willingness to talk me through the process, as well as the price.

Overall, Tony was very quick to return our phone calls. He was able to come out either the same day or the next day. His manner is very professional and pleasant.
