Neighborhood Garage Door Service of Greensboro

Did not show at time stated.. Received a call after the time to state they were at the vendor. Unprofessional service. $100 given down payment on the door. Deposit for door after 2 calls regarding this, and was told by the person answering phone that they had to talk to the manager cost given was considerable higher than the company that was hired to replace the door.

At first the problem was caused by an improper install of the door seals but I fear this is causing addition problems as the door is now making some very strange noises as if it's under some type of stress or strain. I feel this is now also a safety issue for us. Also, what are we to do if the door and the opener completely fail, or someone is injured plus paying $2000.00 to a company that does not respond to our calls or bother to show up at all. I fear personal injury and loss of $2000.00 and possible additional charges for a more reputable company to install a new door correctly. I also filed a complaint with the local Better Business Bureau as I felt totally and completely helpless. BBB was able to make contact with an actual person and they replied on the BBB was: Business Response: We apologize for all inconvenience that the customer has faced in this situation and for our high customer service standards not being met. Our records do show that the warranty work and installation of the trim kit was completed on 10/7/16. If there are any other issues or there's anything further we can assist the customer with, our client service department can be reached directly at ************. Thank you I refused to accept this response and submitted a rebuttal: Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) There is absolutely no excuse at all for the manner in which we where treated. Under most circumstances I would gladly accept an apology from a reputable company AND full explanation as to why we where treated so very poorly. While the work, as you stated, was in fact done on 10/7/2016, a full 10 days later, why where we subjected to such an outrageous lack of care, concern and terrible customer service. It was as if we had no value or worth. As a company you should be outraged in shame by the disregard and total malice you inflicted on my wife and myself. It sickens me just thinking about it. You also offer a client service contact number. Why? We called this number at least 10 times, leaving a message each time. We only got one return call telling me that everyone was busy with paying customers! I deeply regret ever contacting your company and sadly I am reminded of your incompetence each and every day we use our garage door. You say your products have a full lifetime warranty? Being a gentleman I'm not going to say what you can do with this worthless warranty. I will simply be contacting a more reputable company to handle any and all repairs and will gladly pay the extra costs myself. It is said that a business is built on trust. I say to you, at Greensboro's Choice Garage Doors, you have no idea of the meaning of the word trust. We gave you all of ours and you did not return it. I suggest you get yourselves a new dictionary! I am a very vocal business man and consumer and I always share my experiences and opinions, both good and bad, with all whom I come in contact with. As to why I do not accept your response? I feel I've made it perfectly clear as to why. My only hope is that all of this stands with the BBB if only as a warning to all consumers like me, and a reminder to all the people at Greensboro's Choice Garage Doors on how NOT to treat a vulnerable hard working consumer. Have you no conscience? No morals? No ethics? If I myself ever behaved in the manner I've described to you I honestly feel I would never get over the sense of shame of inflicting such disgrace on a fellow human being.

He was quick he was good he called ahead and was on time right on time is very important

The service was great tech was really nice and did a great job he helped me out on the price as well

They came out on a Sunday within hours of the call.  I really liked that.  I would use them again because of their promptness and concern they showed after the completion of the work.  It is not often you can receive same day service for home repairs.  

Kayla called back to speak with me over a month later concerning my experience with the company.  This has really made an impression on me.

Very responsive service. Came when other could not. Had the right part on the truck. Also identified and repaired other issues. Premium service at a premium price. Thanks.

First, the young lady who called to schedule the appointment laughed and said was my address a joke. Mi asked her why. She said it couldn't be a word. Our road is named after an Indian tribe that settled in this area many years ago. I asked her why anyone would input an incorrect name. It came off a bit ethnocentric and racist. Then they came out for the service. They ended up selling us a whole new motor and did not perform the service purchased or give us a credit in that amount. Had no way to issue a receipt at time of payment. Even by email. I had to call them to make it right and they wouldn't refund my money insisting that I take off another whole day of work to meet them since they'd have to come out to do the service they were supposed to do the first time. And when I asked why they charged $500 for something they sell for $399 on Angie's list they said it was for the service (that was includ d in this purchase)!!!! RUN, DON'T WALK AWAY!

The gentlemen were very professional and evaluated the situation quickly and effected the repair immediately.  It was a lot more than I expected to pay based on the Angie's List deal but I did not have the opportunity to get 2 or 3 estimates.
