Great! She was very cautious and discovered a minor kidney infection prior to the cleaning so we had to wait a bit for that to be cured. Afterwards, all went great!

Cat was lethargic over the weekend, and worse Monday AM. I was at the vet hospital before they opened Mon AM with ailing cat in a laundry basket. The staff reached the doctor to advise him before he arrived in the office, and let me know possible diagnostic measures and associated costs. This was an expensive week for the cat, and the Gate City team kept me informed as to all treatments and tests, including costs. I spoke with the dr daily regarding the cat's condition. Dr. Andress was compassionate and capable, and also realistic when we thought cat was failing. Staff very welcoming when we visited the cat to support him during his illness.
Summary -- efficient, professional, caring treatment for animals, with clear communication about costs. No surprises. Cat has been fine ever since (5 years ago), and has not used up any additional lives.
We've now moved away, and I hope I can find a comparable vet in our new location. I highly recommend Gate City Animal Hospital.

Friendly, caring and professional staff. Facility is clean and in an easily accessible location. They put a "Welcome" package together for newcomers and take you on a tour. Dr. Andress took the time to answer all my questions/concerns and suggested things that I never thought about. They offer grooming and boarding. The kitty-condos have outdoor viewing and a television. Highly recommend these folks for pet care/services.

Gate City is very kind and the people there are skilled and personable. They are just fantastic with my dogs and I trust them to always see that my dogs look their best. I appreciate they are so gentle and they are just fantastic groomers.

As soon as we get there, she runs up to the door. She is very excited about this place. We are pleased that our dog is so comfortable. They are great. They are also compassionate and clean. We would definitely recommend them to other people.
