The job went very well and they were very efficient. They took everything apart and put it all back together they way it should go.

Everything leading up to the day of the move went well with DeHaven's, i.e. quote process and the little arrangements. I was expecting a smooth move. On the day of the move, the crew showed up 4 hours late. There's not a lot to do at a storage facility to pass 4 hours of time. Although I paid an extra fee for moving a piano, which was clearly indicated on everyone's paperwork, they arrived without a piano moving board and too few men to move a piano. The crew was slow and unmotivated. When the additional crew and piano board arrived (almost 4 hours later) it seemed to me that nobody was properly trained in piano moving. I've watched my piano being moved several times over the years and I'm very surprised that due to the odd way the chose to get the piano on the board, one of the men did not suffer back injuries. The piano was one of the last items loaded and come to find out, they had run out of furniture pads. The additional crew had just arrived, I'm pretty sure they could have brought additional pads had they been requested by the first crew. The piano was wrapped with my bedding, throw rugs and a flannel shirt as these were the only things available. Because the crews arrived late and moved so slowly, it was getting close to the time when the storage facility would lock down and any motion sensor activity would send the sheriff. So, there wasn't really any time to fix this problem, we had to get out and I simply hoped for the best. Not a big surprise to me, the piano arrived with chips and gouges. Luckily, I had taken an insurance policy with a deductible. To DeHaven's credit, the claim process was not a problem. I had a check reasonably quickly. However, I asked DeHaven's for some consideration on the deductible due to the unprofessional preparation. Bottom Line : They screwed up, did a poor job and because of that, I'm out $250. I realize crap happens occasionally but this could have been avoided by doing the job correctly. A company that cares about their customer and takes pride in what they do would own up to their mistakes and work with the customer. I'm sure they could have covered the deductible, had a satisfied customer and still made money on the move. However, they've chosen to ignore me.

Everything on the delivery end went very well. it was DeHaven's affiliate North American Van Lines who actually drove the load, and North American's local representative that did the unloading. They were quick, careful and polite.

Over all they were horrible the worst moving experience I have ever had

THEY CAME A LITTLE EARLY THE DAY WE WERE SUPPOSED TO MOVE. WE WERE REALLY HAPPY WITH THAT. THEY WERE SO CAREFUL WITH OUR BELONGINGS. THEY DID NOT BREAK ONE THING. IT WAS GREAT!

I appreciate how helpful Blairs Custom Water is. They have always answered any questions I have, and they are nice about it. They do excellent work at a fair price, too.

THEY WERE REALLY EFFICIENT. THEY MADE SURE TO TAKE CARE OF MY BELONGINGS AND WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL THE ENTIRE TIME. THEY WERE FRIENDLY, BUT NOT SO MUCH THAT IT DISTRACTED THEM FROM DOING THE WORK.
