Our AC unit stopped blowing cold air after another company came and did a "tune up" two days previously. The other company recommended replacing many parts of the two AC units we have, about $1000.00 worth with this other company and suggested we think about replacing our 12 year old units. I had planned on getting a second opinion when the downstairs unit failed. We did have Scott Loye doing our semi-annual servicing, so I found his number in my files and he came out right away. He checked both the units and found that only one capacitor was not functioning and replaced it. No other repair or maintenance was needed. The other company quoted $199.00 to replace just the capacitor; Scott Loye only charged $80.00 plus the $35.00 service fee for a total of $115.00. He assured us no other issues existed. We will call him first next time and look forward to having him do our semi-annual service. We highly recommend him.
