Craddock's Appliance Service

Mr. Craddock was affordable, on time, and very easy to deal with. He even made friends with my dog, who is not easily won over. He repaired my oven.

We called Ed to come out and look at it. He showed us where the burner/heating unit cracked. He ordered a new one for us and installed it. He came to our house twice and his total bill was 144.00. This included the part he had to order, shipping and his service fee. If we ever need any appliance work again, we will definitely call him.

Excellent. I've never had a problem getting service from them right away.  This includes one year on Christmas day when my refrigerator stopped working.  I highly recommend them to others.

Repaired washing machine.  It was not draining. It had gotten sand in the motor which I think was actually cat litter because I washed some bath rugs the cat had  walked on.  Even though I had shaken the rugs outside thoroughly, apparently there was enough left in the rugs to mess up my machine.  Mr. Craddock diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it.  When he was  hooking the machine back up he discovered the installers had stripped the threads on the connecting hoses two years ago when I bought the machine.  He said it was a flood waiting to happen.  He ordered the necessary part and came back a few days later to install it.  I was actually glad I had messed up the machine because a flooded house would have been much worse. I doubt the other jokers from the major retailer would have caught the problem since they actually caused it.  Mr. Craddock had been recommended by my plumber years ago.  I had Mr. Craddock repair my leaking refrigerator a year ago.  It quit working 6 months later for a completely different reason and I bought a new one.  Mr. Craddock asked why I hadn't called him and I said I figured it was 10 years old and if something different was going to break down every 6 months, I would just as soon get a newer, more efficient one.  I hope I don't need any more repairs for a few years, but if I do, Mr. Craddock will be my go-to guy for all appliance repairs.  He is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and punctual.  I felt the price was extremely reasonable since he had to make two trips to my house.  Wonderful gentleman!

I have a 17 year refrigerator, and he repaired it. I am getting ready to get a new one. He was really cheap. It was cheaper than getting a brand new one. He is very honest, he will tell you upfront whether or not he can fix it. He is a very nice guy, and it is a family run business. He can easily gauge me, but he has never done that.

Told me the cost of the part and installaion and syggested that I would com out better just buying a new microwave, which I did

I called and explained my problem. A date was set. He called to say what time he would arrive. He arrived on time, was very friendly and courteous. Diagnosed problem. Called supplier to get price of icemaker. Advised me of price, I gave approval and he ordered it. We set up a followup date in a week. He called to set up time, arrived at that time and installed new icemaker. He charged the price for the part and a technical service time both of which were reasonable. I was pleased with the entire experience. He wasn't listed in yellow pages, so if I hadn't used Angie's list I would not have found him. Thanks Angie!

Mr. Ed Craddock is the epitome of what I want in a repair technition. He was courteous, professional, prompt, and efficient. He explained what he was going to do and answered any questions politely. He was unfailingly polite and non-intrusive. I felt completely safe with him in the house. He will from now on be my "go to guy" for any and all appliance repairs.

Ed is a very nice man who works very expediently, all with a smile on his face. We will certainly recommend him, as we were pleased with the work, but also in the way we made the appointment and the follow through with his arrival, diagnosis and repair.

They came out and diagnosed the problem and gave and estimate. They returned the next day and replaced the part. The total bill was less than the estimate.
