Took 5 hours to respond to a 'water of' situation, at 8 A.M. Had to turn off all water to house because shower would not turn off. Excessive cost. I am a long time customer of Central Carolina Heating, A/C. We have used them for dual whole house systems. The service has been good and prices high, but overall fair. Based on my long term relationship with them, I started using their plumbing service. Our opinion of the company has dropped based on their plumbing service. It has been over-the-top in pricing, and uses their position in our whole house service, to extract inappropriate service fees. We have an annual Plumbing contract to keep our system operational and prevent problems. We have used the plumbing service to fix things and replace two toilets. Today, a shower would not turn off. I had turn off all water to the house. This emergency happened at 7:30 AM. I called them at 8 AM. The service man arrived at 1 PM, 5 hours without water for a long time client, DURING THE DAY! The replacement cartridge to fix the problem, sells for less than $40 at Lowes. The charge to repair the problem was $224, for 20 minutes of work. It should have been $100 less. This does not give me a reason to use their service again.

Was unable to locate any problems I had since the unit was put in incorrectly by another company. They didn't notice that the drain was clogged and leaking and that there was no safety value on the unit.

They were punctual. They try to put extra cost on things like replacing this and that. They try to up-sell you. It took them about three hours to do the check up.

They were thorough, they provided a follow up of the work that they did and recommendations for any future repairs I might want to have. It was a good experience. The person that was nice and personable.

They gave me some options about filling the Freon and replacing the coils. They provided good advice. They provided detailed report of the service and recommendation on pricing and anything they found that was not stellar and provided options that I had. I do not really see any room for improvement. If they lowered their price that would be an improvement, but I don't think their price is not unreasonable.

I've used them for more than 10 years. I have a contract with them so the visits are $20 and discounted if it any repairs are needed. They always give you a good window, they tell you when they are going to come and they always call about 30 minutes before they come to make sure you are home. They can be very flexible if your really running late, so I like that about them. When they are working they tell you what they are doing and answer any questions you have related to the service they are doing. When they come in they wear booties over their shoes so they don't get the carpet dirty. I have been very satisfied with their service over the years.

Not well. Within a 6 day period, it took 3 separate visits and 2 separate plumbers to fix a water leak over the garage ceiling. The first plumber wrote in his report that there weren't any pipes over the garage ceiling, despite us showing him that the water heater is located directly above the garage ceiling. He wrote in the work performed comments: “Not a plumbing or HVAC issue.” The second plumber offered to cut the unaffected sheet rock in the garage wall and not the wet sheet rock in the garage ceiling to find where the water was leaking. He did not think it was a pipe leaking since the water meter dial by the street never turned after a 15 minute observation period. These two plumbers' inability to locate and fix a water leak in a timely manner resulted in extensive water damage in half of our garage ceiling. Had the problem been diagnosed correctly during the first visit, the damage would not have been as severe and costly. The restoration company we hired to repair the damage found the leak immediately after cutting the sheet rock where the water was leaking. It was the water heater pipe leaking through the ceiling . While we weren't charged by Central Carolina to fix the leak, other than a $20 trip charge, we feel Central Carolina should pay for a portion of the repair cost ($1,840) considering it took them 3 separate visits and almost 1 week of continuous pipe leaking to diagnose and fix the problem. Steve W. from Central Carolina does not feel that Central Carolina should reimburse us for any portion of the repair costs. In his words, he doesn't understand our logic as to why we want Central Carolina to pay for some of the repair costs. He was not concerned that we were going to submit negative reviews regarding the company.

The wok was expensive but they do a good job. The workers were professional and friendly. They left the area clean. They weren’t punctual and they said they were going to be and the price was way too high.
