Hired Oscar to install a new roof on my daughters home in Winston NC. I was truly impressed by the workmanship of the job. His pricing was very reasonable. He also offered a warranty. The workers showed up way before scheduled time ready to work and did an excellent job at that. They took the time to protect the flower beds and surrounding area and cleaned up all debris immaculately after the job. We would definitely hire Oscar and his crew again. And recommend him to anyone who need roofing work done. Thank you

I hired Oscar and his men a couple years ago to install a new shingle roof that had all but rotted out. I found out about him after his guys were able to fix my neighbor's roof after several other roofers failed to to the job correctly. Our service was excellent and well below the cost of others that had quoted the same job. Oscar came out and actually knew what a roof was made of, not like the salesman that every other roofer sent to look at my roof. I know they were salesmen because they certainly never worked on a roof before and the estimates were not reasonable. I've installed roofs before and when I met Oscar I knew he was the real deal. The process was very professional and a good experience for me considering I'm paying for a roof which no one wants to do. Yesterday they came by to work on a flat roof on another part of the house. We just had a big wind and rain storm and everything held up perfectly last night. Oscar is my roofer. the end.

Oscar and his crew did an awesome job he was the only one of 3 roofers to actually get on the roof.. for the estimate.. did a great job on the roof..had him do my gutters also.. would highly recommend him

Gutter installation crew had to, in places, predrill facia boards due to the materials used 10 years ago when soffets and facias were replaced. The gutter crew did a very good job including all cleanup.

Oscar came out quickly, gave free estimate, then did the work the next day. Would use again.

My gutter was installed.. however they left a muddy.. terrible mess for me to clean up all over my deck.. furniture.. exterior siding.. windows. I need them to return to clean my other gutters.

i wanted to share my experience and reference for the best roofer. we got 6. yep count 6 quotes for our roof replacement and I know more about roof replacement than I ever cared to know. we had all the usual. hammer time, sky walker, roofing pro, ABC roofing and roofing. all with varying quotes and varying ideas about the roofing process. here are some very important things you need to know if you need to replace your roof.1) if you do not already have one you must have a ridge vent installed. If you do not it will void your shingle warranty from the manufacturer. in order for a ridge vent to operate properly you must also have soffits in your roof eaves. intake (soffits), outtake (ridge vent). if you just have a ridge vent with no soffits you will risk mold and mildew build up in your attic. we had some of the prospective roofers tell us that power fans in the roof or fans at the gable vents would also work they will not be installing soffit vents ourselves. It is very simple and cost all of $20.00.2) the shingle warranty from the manufacturer does not include workmanship. the roofing contractors we spoke to offered 1 year, 5 -10 years for an extra charge, 5 years or 10 years included in the price) every single roofing contractor of the 5 listed above admittedly uses Mexican sub-contractors. some even go to lowed in the morning and solicit general laborers that they do not know anything about their skill level their background nothing. They get a price from the sub-contractor and mark it up and that is your quotation. 3) in the case of roofing pro, they did not even inspect our roof but, were quick to point our that any unseen damage would be extra. the salesman only wanted to present his presentation to my husband; because, clearly a women didn't need to worry her silly little head about a roof. what he did not realize is that i have remodeled 5 houses as a single woman. I know much more about it than my husband does. bad assumption on his part. they are also the company that offers only a 1 year workmanship warranty. we eliminated them early on.4) one of the roofing contractors told me he would pay me $100.00 cash for reviews. really although I understand that as a business owner you must make a profit, we had apples to apples quotes ranging from $14,000.00 - $6,800.00. if $6,800.00 is what it costs the sub-contractor (who is making a profit) and you the roofing contractor are marking up their price by this kind or margin and adding no value to the process, this appears to me to border on exploitation rather than just good business practices.so after that long winded description and take away regarding the process we went through here is our roofing contractor recommendation. Canales roofing they use their own contractors. Oscar (the owner) is a roofer, not a salesman. he is honest, hardworking and knows what he is doing. he wants to do a great job at a fair price. and he was the only contractor to offer a 10 year workmanship warranty included in

I had a roof leak and they were able to fix it in a timely manner. I don't think the roof will leak anymore but won't know until it rains. LOL

Our family owns and maintains property in Alaska, California, Nevada, Ohio and North Carolina. I grew up after WWII a time when we learned DIY as well as material, labor and margins. I contacted Canales Roofing, Oscar estimated and I accepted. The crew did an outstanding job exceeding all codes and practices. On a personal note, I consider it an insult to the tradesmen/business owners to price shop.
