Description of Work: When calling Skip Becker he left message on voice mail that his piano service was now Becker/Brown. After several calls rec'd call from Fred Brownand said Skip Becker now retired. Mr Brown tuned my baldwin piano to my satisfaction. very knowledgeable, nice. I plan to use him again.

 + -1 moreSkip showed up and tuned my piano which had not been properly tuned in some time. He let me know that if I'm serious about getting it in tune that it will take a few tunings. He also hooked up the dehumidifier inside of it which should help once we get it back in shape.
Description of Work: Skip tuned my very neglected Young Chang upright.

 + -1 moreMr. Becker was prompt, interesting, friendly, but not overly so, and did a great job tuning a very old piano that spent several years in storage before being shipped across the country. He did his job, played a lovely piece, and gave us some helpful piano advice before leaving. I will happily recommend Mr. Becker.

 + -1 moreHis experience was solid since he does a lot of work tuning pianos for local colleges. Very pleasant encounter and quite knowledgeable.
Description of Work: Arrived on time and evaluated my piano. Advised not to have the piano tuned because of the age of the piano and the problems that would probably occur if attempted. Appreciate his honesty and straightforward answer. Someone else could have tried to do the work and run into a lot of problems which would have cost much more than I would be willing to spend on the project.
